1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

What's the fascination with the DNA 40 Boards about?

Recommend opening the juice control to maximum (clockwise rotation all the way to the end) to get the best connection possible.

The temp between the DNA40 and the 350J differ considerably IME. The best part of 100f difference.

    Interesting...
I had the same temp setting on both the dna 40 and the IPV4 temp mod but had 22W on the dna 40 and 20 J on the IPV4 Temp mod...

Something not right here with this IPV4 temp setting
I have it set at 460 F and at 20J and all I get is a burnt horrible hit
I put the tank on my DNA 40 mod or my vapor flask mod at 460 F and 22 W and get no hit and it just hits temp protection as it should.....

My Lemo is at 360f 25J
    **Updated**
I did a very quick comparison the other day, forgetting the temp I used previously with the DNA40.
Although it was only a few hits on one atomizer I came to the conclusion that they can't be compared with the same temperatures.
Not sure if that is the case with all atomizers.

The Delta was at 390f (no idea if that is burnt hit free) on the DNA40 I needed near 480f to get a similar vape.
    **Updated**
Might be worth starting a thread with people's preferred settings for each atomizer.
I'm still very much in a testing period but happy with what I have experienced so far.
    **Updated**
Not sure if it can be done as when the coil is dry it won't fire.

Ok, well I had fooked up my nickel OCC coil so put a new one in, set it to 380 F at 22 J
The vape quality is fine so I will run the tank dry again and see what happens this time....

Over on ECF I saw the below post which is kinda the same as me

Sure, my mistake was using the same numbers on the DNA40 as I did on the 350J. They are completely different.

I wonder why that is....oh well they are 2 different chips I guess and one is Ws and one is Js...but I'd have thought the temperature part would have worked kinda the same...

So would I but in my limited experience testing both I found that not to be the case at all.
I would start 100f lower than the DNA40 and go from there.

^^^ That just doesn't seem logical...temp settings should be the same since they're measuring the same things ostensibly.
Wonder if P4Y put the wrong chip in the IPV4...or a chip that doesn't do TC...
    They'd never do that...would they?!? ;)

Only if they are both accurate. Logical or not, my experiences are with the 350J, unless my chip is also ******.

360f on the 350J is a great vape (Lemo), on the DNA40 it's completely dead. Considering that, it does seem logical, to me at least, that the extra heat (according to settings display) would improve the vape on the DNA40 but cause burnt hits on the 350J.

I don't know which is more accurate, all I know is they're completely different in my very limited experience (two tanks)
