Been searching but am still confused.

I am interested in the Smok Alien but i realise that it is quite a heavy mod. I currently own the Sigelei 150w TC mod and this i think is already heavy.

Can anybody tell me the weights of the Sigelei 150w TC and the Smok Alien with or without batteries inside?

    Thanks!

You could measure out 345 ml of water, which would weigh the same as the Smok Alien (less a few grams for the measuring cup). If you don't have ready access to a scale (which it sounds like you don't), that would give you a rough comparison.

and all the weights i found (without batteries) are confusing me. If anybody could help me would be great. The Smok alien looks incredible and is at about $50 but I dont want a heavier mod than i already have.

Ok so i took a different route and searched weight of 18650 battery and apparently original 18650 batteries weigh about exactly 45g each.

    So:

    Sigelei 150w TC (with batteries) = 210 + 90g = 300g
Smok Alien TC (with batteries) = 340g

    Damn that is heavy :(
    **Updated**
I think the 340g you quoted includes the box as well etc
    **Updated**
Plus on another site i just see it says the Sigelei weighs 190g + 2 batteries (45g each) = 280g

So its about 40-70g heavier i guess.

I have 2 mods that take 26650 batts and weigh in the same 300-350 gm neighborhood (and the missus has one as well). I would never take them out of the house but I got used to their heft quickly.

Just pop down the gym, get on the weights, and you won't notice the weight of the Mod afterwards.

I do like some weight , my watch alone weighs is at 180 to 190 grams and that doesnt' bother me ( on the contrary , i do not like a lightweight thing on my arm anymore ) . For me , many things are better quality when heavier , but that is offcourse generalisation which is not correct . However , look at Hifi equipment , where high end unit are allways a lot heavier then their cheap counterparts ( amp is 30kg or a lot more , pick any cheapo amp and feel the difference ) . With bycicles/ cars /motorbikes it is opposite because weight is not good for moving parts . Good metal inside for high current transfer is thicker wires etc , so heavier , that is my opinion . 350 grams orso is no problem i think .

@etcyberdude. You are the man! Its lighter than I thought. Def putting an order in for an Alien soon!

Prob gonna have to buy local as I'm too worried these days to buy something like that from overseas. Have not lost an order yet but dont want to experience that tbh.
