1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

not 100% sure on this, but normally after it does the auto correction if you delete back to change it again it should give an option that says something like "add this word to the dictionary" or just "add this word" and if you click "yes" or just on the word it remembers the word is not a mistake and is intentional therefore will not auto correct it anymore.

Digressing a bit from my original question, but still on topic.

Does anybody have much in the way of experience of vaping outside of Thailand?

What are the countries where vaping is either more or less common, or just downright banned from civilisation?

I've vaped in Hong Kong, its illegal there but allowed for tourists, had no problems. I vaped like I would smoke, which sucked at Disney since there aren't very many smoking areas. The States is no issue, same thing there.

Singapore I can understand, can't even chew a pack of Wrigley's there.
Extremely surprised to hear about Cambodia though.

Strange system for Hong Kong, wouldn't that cause some jealousy between locals and tourists?

Anybody been to any European countries?

Most of Europe are looking at regulation as per analougues and same restrictions. The EU is trying to bring in some Darconian regulatios and then leaving it up to the individual countries to implement their own ideas as well.

Ireland is going strong as is England.

Korea - similar to here in terms of number of people vaping and amount it is normalized. Maybe more mods and advanced kit in stores there but on the streets I only ever saw egos or similar. Crazy expensive to buy anything.

Laos - only there a few days. Sawsome awful looking cigalikes in a market. No locals spotted vaping but I did meet a backpacker who had a (mini) Hana mod topped with an Ithaka in each hand I didn't notice any weird looks.

    --------

On the vaping in public in Thailand: was at a wawee coffee today, outside but in the non-smoking area. "Buri fai far dai mai?" "dai kap" :very good::vaping:

I reckon Europe is summed up pretty well with the word draconian in all honesty haha.

Interesting to hear about Korea, I'm guessing Japan would be pretty similar.

Sounds like a thumbs up for Wawee coffee!
