Vaping Import/Export Ban Clarified

I don't believe there's any distinction made between transporting banned items for trade or personnel use. The CM notifies Customs what's banned and its then up to Customs to enforce the ban. If they offer any leniency for personal use is yet to be seen.

Thanks AI-Naam. I saw that too. I think so too. Seems okay. I was hoping to find something in Thai just regarding Vape if it is a separate penalty or a penalty that would stack with other penalties due to the compound in liquid.

This is what I am trying to get concrete evidence of. Since this has passed, I am still searching for a valid statement that says its okay to vape, not import, export, sell. At the moment I am searching for something that is written in Thai that is official (That sounded so silly) for more than "tolerated " or "Lenient towards"

Yea the thing that scares me most about that site is this :

 

I dad flew back from KL last night with 20 bottles of 30ml juice in his checked luggage, got through Swampy without any problem.

 

It would be good to gather as many reports as we can about peoples experiences of using the airports in Thailand - generally they don't seem too strict at the moment

 

FWIW passed through Swampy yesterday (leaving Thailand), thought I'd take one for the team and made a point of declaring my ipvd2/serpent, 10ml juice bottle (bagged) and box of spare batts to the staff at the scanner - waved on through with a bemused smile!

Just came into Thailand with a good amount of gear and no problems. Nothing I have resembles a cigalike or clearomizer, so I don't know if that makes a difference. Only brought 3 tanks and all were broken down. RDA's were left intact. I did have security in Korea ask about one RDA and one mech mod. I just told them electronics and no problem. I didn't feel like explaining e-cigs to them and figured electronics would be easier. Bags went through x-ray at customs in Thailand and no one even batted an eye.

 

Sorry forgot to say this was Chiang Mai. Only x-raying the larger bags. Anyone with carry on size were just waved around. Last time I came in (almost 2 years ago) they were too busy watching a video on their phones and were just waving everyone around. But I guess the new "enhanced" screening has made them at least run a few bags through the machine so they have some pictures to show the big bosses.
