Tweezer and Torch ! Where to buy in Thailand ?

I'm looking for both..Torch and Tweezrs
Until now i found only useless stuff !

 

Tweezers from the local pharmacy and just buy a wind proof lighter.Dont get caught up in the hype that you need this or that to achieve a decent coil.

 

Agreed. I've been wrapping coils for 4 months now, and never used a torch. Nice to have, sure. But not actually necessary.

 

I found a torch at one of the big hardware chains. It's one of those ones you just put on top of a disposable can of butane. It cast about 700THB. I looked for ages too.

The store (here in Khon Kaen) is called something like Thai Watsidu (or something very similar...maybe someone else knows). I looks like a big chain (but sorry don't know about BKK).

 

I don't know where you are located, but if you happen to be in Pattaya, the hardware store in the basement of Tukcom has the good (tool) Tweezers.

For what its worth, I saw one video where the guy just used a regular cigarette lighter. I tried it, when installing a pre-made coil with silica, just to make the leads a bit more manageable, and it worked great.

 

A small windproof lighter is all thats needed, well not needed but it makes it a bit more easy, you can buy at almost all markets.
