1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

    Same old lies & ignorance:

"Khatha Bundithanukul, a member of the Smoking Cessation Pharmacist Volunteers' Network...said e-cigarettes burned propylene glycol and produced carcinogenic residue" [Panga: burns!!!Also PG has not been shown to do any harrn or leave any residue when vaped. Burned is irrelevant]

"Dr Wanchat Supajaturas, director of the Thai Health Professional Alliance against Tobacco Office, said both types of cigarettes posed the same risks, but people believe that the electronic version is safer because inhaling through a liquid appears less harmful" [Panga: this guy is a doctor but he doesn't understand the difference between combustion & evaporation]

"The liquids used in e-cigarettes contain concentrated nicotine and residues such as propylene glycol, lead, manganese, zinc, mercury, arsenic and cadmium - which could destroy smokers' respiratory system" [Panga: concentratewd nicotine = no. The rest, well I will not buy juice because I do not trust the ingredients but I think this is based on 1 flawed fda study from years ago that is always quoted bt anti-ecig types]

"Dr Nopporn Cheunklin, deputy chief of the Public Health Ministry's Disease Control Department, said that since e-cigarettes were popular despite being prohibited, the ministry had decided to draft a law and put them under the same controls applied to normal cigarettes and tobacco products." [Panga: tax]

And I suspect this has a lot to do with it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thailand_Tobacco_Monopoly

"The Thailand Tobacco Monopoly, known as TTM, is a state enterprise which had a monopoly in Thailand over the manufacturing and distribution of tobacco products"

I am really starting to get quite annoyed with all this ecig mumbo jumbo.. We the people have the right to vape if we want. I vape 6mg juice with 80 to 100 vg. What jerk off doctor can prove to me that this is worst than a cigarette? If I smell more, taste more, breath better, stronger cardio, stop coughing, no mucus anymore etc... Then how is it bad? #%?@ the government, FDA, tobacco, pharmaceutical money hungry A$$hole$

I am always alarmed when it states experts in an newspaper article. The expert says that living in a house made of wood is a lot more dangerous as living in a house made of concrete. Well I'm an expert. I worked more than 2 decades in a library so I'm an expert, and I find that living in a House of Wood is more dangerous than a house of concrete. I have no idea about housing, but I'm an expert. And that is the problem that so often when expert are quoted that they might be experts, but not on the subject they are commenting.

Well here again we have an expert on selling nicotine chewing gum and other articles you might buy in a drug store, but that does not make him or here an expert of the electronic cigarette. There are already so many scientific reviews, why don't they read them first instead of continuing telling fairy tales.

How ever they are wrong, they have the power to enforce strict banning law against e-cig... So, I am really wondering what I will be able to do if the e-cig become strictly prohibited in a near future... Resume the killing cigarettes?
