So my center pin on the 510 connection has been playing up a little just of late.
I've pulled it up carefully with a thin screwdriver a few time to get it firing a tank.

But today no matter how far I pull it up it won't recognize the tank, just shows as o.oo ohms
SO i am guessing the connection from the pin to the circuit board has a problem.

Looks like it's time to say good bye to my SVD.
Kinda gutter as it was a great mod

    FIXED!!!

So I pulled out the pin but this time right out, it has a wire on it which connects to the circuit board but it has enough wire on it to pull it out to work on it.

The insulator washer had gone, it looks like it got pushed into the bottom of the hole to where the circuit board is.
So this was giving out the short as it wasn't insulated.
I have lots of spare things and in my spare box I found a perfect washer just like this one

Not easy for my big fingers but with a little bit of care I got it on.
Pushed the pin back in with the new washer on it, the pin now is kinda high but I can still flush mount my iClear 30 no probs.

Switch it on, and it worked just fine.

    Sorted...
I was all ready to buy a new vv/vw device too.....i like to have one to check ohms with, and to vape with from time to time:rolling laugh:

Its the + button, not the fire button.
