I made and order from Vapor Shark expecting that I would be able to get it delivered. Today I got a note that I had to go pick it up at Lak Si post office. This happened about a year ago to me and I ended up losing the package.
Does anyone have a contact at Lak Si post office/customs that may be able to help. Please PM me.

If it's just the VS then it isn't illegal. Same thing happened when my flavoring a came from TPA, go down to Lak Si, pay the duties, walk away with your package. Sorry I don't have a contact for you, but you should be fine.

I have a similar problem with Nong Khai, 10 items in all, no liquid but there not letting any products in as they say e cigs are illigal in thailand. Its the second package ive lost, one using DHL and now this as regular HK EMS.

I think they are getting stricter with all of this, I have no idea about my 400 ml of GLV now, I really hope that doesn't get hit....

USPS straight from vapor shark. Don't guess that the name VS helped matters. I have had pretty good luck getting items with USPS, including e-liquid. FastTech orders are coming through with regularity. I'm trying to work an inside angle right now, if not I'll try to pick it up myself.
About a year ago I had protanks rejected coming from kanger with DHL (I think because they were described as atomizers). and I had an order from Halo seized, via USPS, but that one was clearly labeled ecigs, and included a full kit. So there was no possible explanation when I opened the box.

If it's at Lak Si, it's already been through customs. You just have to pay the duties on it.

Sorry to hear all of this.

As I said there is liquid in the box. Which would be the hardest to explain. More over if any mention of ecigarette comes up it's as good as gone. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to be as easy as walking in there and paying the duty.

Actually that's not exactly the case. At Lak Si I will have to open and if necessary explain the contents. If it had cleared customs it would have come to my local post office (I.e. Phrakanong).

Actually it's not a good call, because it's not factual. I've been through this once before at Lak Si. Luckily I met a guy last time I was at Lak Si having my order seized. So I have that option first.

Fair enough. My experience has been a call down to the airport if customs wants to have a look at it, Lak Si if there is a big charge, local if the fee is just a few baht. You should still have the option of returning to sender rather than seizure either way.

Once again this is not the case. If they open it at Lak Si, tell you that any one of the components in the package is forbidden there is NO option to return to sender, NO option to remove the legal components. They sieze the package in its entirety on the spot, tape it up make you sign the paperwork and claim that it will be destroyed. Believe it or not, this happened to me.
That being said when I had my clearomizers rejected, they were stopped at Subvarnabhumi (they were coming in with DHL). DHL told me it could not be cleared, and they returned it to the sender. I was then able to get the sender to forward it to my friend in Canada (at my expense).
