1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

So a few years back some of us did a group buy on wire from a UK company, probably only a few members will remember this.

I've just re wicked my 2 Hurricane tanks and thought to myself, I've still got shit loads of this left on this reel..
Can't get over how many years it's been without even having to buy wire....can't even remember how many years back it was anyway..

How about you guys? Do you often buy wire or are you like me and got a lifetime supply left over?..

    NO! :p

I've still got a ton of wire left...doubt I'll ever use it up given how infrequently I actually make my own coils. :D

It's similar for me, I have still a lot of wire and make my own coils.
I am using two different gauges (for single or double coils), but after time I am vaping with single coils nearly all the time.

I sold the 26 gauge I bought from that buy. Still have a lot left from a spool of 24 gauge I bought from Rick. I don't think I've purchased wire in a little over a year. Might pick up some when I go back home though.

Still on my first box of Watson's cotton. I do have a bag of Muji, but that is pretty much full.

I use SS coils, which I need to replace every few days. The SS coils tend to jump around in resistance after a bit of use and so needs to be replaced much more often than a kanthal coil. Also, I don't dry burn my coils due to the (theoretical) release of hexavalent chromium - it's better to just replace a gunked up coil with a new one as it only takes a few minutes.

I was part of that purchase. @V, yes I still have the majority of the kanthal left. I have purchased one one spool of 22,24,26,28 &32. Still have over half of each spool left and all of them are between 2-3 years old.

I have said it before, if you make your own juice, build your own coils, and resist new attys/mods, vaping can be practically free.

    IMO

Building your own coils in LOS, is important.... Trying to find available coil heads in Thailand, can be pain in the arris...
