    Just curious if someone used it for TC heating wire.

    I'm not sure that would be a good idea. Most SS guitar strings are tin plated right? Also, they're essentially a clapton...an outer wire wound around a core. And claptons don't work very well with TC. Seems kinda expensive too...

    I'm not sure that using "filled" "wounded" strings would be a good advice, just because you 'll be not kmow the exact specificity of the metal used on the steel core.
    Some brand have an anti corrosion treatment on steel, but not all the brand,
    fender, daddario .... are selling "pure nickel" string.
    it could be normally used for TC,
    but have a click it in your favorite "shop on line" look to be cheaper and a better advice.
