1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

    Hello.

I have a sigelei and previously used a kanger protank as my atomizer.

I dropped it twice and both times it snapped where the threads are attached. I know it shouldn't be dropped but this seems to be a weakness of this.

But I also had another problem with it. I would pretty often get juice in my mouth which I could never fix.

I really want to give up smoking and now I'm looking for a new atomizer. Please can you guys suggest my best option to buy a new one?

Ideally if they are available from a vendor on this forum even better.

    Thanks so much in advance!

Going from a pro tank I should think a nautilus or nautilus mini would suit well. Better flavor and vapor.

No question...Nautilus or N-Mini...buy 2 and get a couple of boxes of replacement coils. Check Big's forum section, pretty sure he has them available.

For me, the sweet spot is somewhere between 10.5-12 watts. You won't believe the difference to the ProTank.

I think the mini would look better on your mod...but it holds less juice...

I personally would go for the full size!

Do these fill from the top or bottom? Good vape with no juice coming into your mouth?

    They fill from the bottom.

They do gurgle a bit and can spit depending on what juice you are vaping...

At the moment I have only 1 out of 6 that spits when I push the fire button, but the rest never gives me any problems...

I think it is the best tank with an 1.8 ohm coil around!

Full size all the way...5 ml vs. 2 ml for the N-Mini. As long as they're set up properly, there should be no spit back. They can gurgle a bit from time-to-time. Usually, a tissue swab down the chimney takes care of that. And they're bottom fill tanks.

Thanks for the information guys. Much appreciated.

The 1.8ohm coils allow to push more wattage through it for stronger vape. Is that correct?

It's the other way around in theory. You can have a "strong" vape with pretty much any kind of coils but you will increase the wattage as the ohms drops (sub-ohm).

I've ordered the Aspire Nautilus and 1.8ohm replacement coils from Big.

Im really looking forward to testing them out. I stopped smoking for a good 6 months before flooded coils and juice in my mouth had me smoking again.

Now there are suppliers in bkk, my hopes are high to finally stop smoking. This will be a life changer.

I will for sure be sticking around here and will let you know how I get on.

Thanks to everyone for their support. :)

I had originally quit with the protank 2..... coming to find the nautilus changed everything. It only gets better from there.

    Well, it arrived yesterday!

At the moment, I'm getting a throat hit that's causing me to cough and only a small amount of vape coming out my mouth on exhale.

I'm not sure at this point if it's:

    A) my bad chest which still needs time to clear up
    B) the fact that I'm not used to vaping yet

Addition: the throat hit and low vape seems to be partly caused by the juice I was using. I've had liquid in stock for a year or 2 (does it go out of date?) Which is a thicker darker coloured juice.

After diluting it with a lighter juice... Vape production has increased and throat hit causing cough decreased too.

I guess I'm curious to know... Does liquid have a shelf life?

If I normally smoke LM blue. Do you guys know of a liquid that would taste similar?

Despite the coughing... I'm not giving up on vaping. I *must* give up cigarettes.
