Boy am I pissed. My sig75w has been on order forever and still not in stock at the vendor so still a long time before I get it. Just to rub salt into the wounds, a local vendor has then in stock @ 2400 Baht ( 69 USD )

Yeah, these Sig75 pre-orders in China have been ridiculous. You should just cancel, you could have it in a few days, provided they don't sell out ;)

You're probably right boys but if I cancel I'll have nothing left to bitch about, apart from the IPV D2 which will be the same. Lesson finally learned though, no more preorders for me ;)

Yes I think it is a really fine mod, and seeing that E-cig healthy had it for a reasonable price i got really tempted, until i saw the new thread, and wonder if I order it and pay for it, I might get something complete different.

But ever since I saw it the first time, I had this feeling of something very familiar with the design. I loved it immediately , now I know why. It reminds me of one of my favourite ice cream snack way back.........

Got one as well and am very happy with it.

The first build was a single coil with ca 12 wraps and ended up with something like .33 ohms. I think the wires were not connected properly and it didnt work properly. Firing was not consistent.

So i figured that i did something wrong and took it all apart again.

Second go was two coils, 8 wraps, evenly spaced out (until i wicked the coils and then they were not so even anymore). Ended up at.15ohms and all was nice and well.

After a while i noticed that the taste was getting bad and found that one coil was slightly gunked up and the cotton also had gone a little brownish.

Since i love the tinkering i just dissassembled it all again and watched another couple of vids and read a couple of articles to see what i could do to improve it while my velocity dried after a nice little shower.

i read longtails thread from june about double coils not being possible on tc considered myself lucky i didnt break my new favorite toy by being careless.

Finally i twisted the 32 ga ni200 wire i have and made single coil and think that i am finally getting there.

200 to 230 degrees celsius from 20 to 40 watts. All nice and flavoury.
Also it is much easier to wick a nickel coil made from twisted wires since it is sturdier.
although it still seems to make the wike a little brown after a while (see foto below). Does that mean i wicked it too tight or loose?

i am glad i choose this mod as my first tc dvice. It is affordable, good looking, sturdy, easy to use, quite accurate (apparently) and nice to hold.

any comments of something i could do to improve the tc experience are welcome, thanks for reading
