1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

With the Subox Mini, I've been smoke free for three weeks now. It's great for all day vaping, if it's full of a juice I really like. But I am still experimenting with flavours, and different PG/VG. The juice holes are quite high up, so I have to bin a lot of juice if I want to change.
I looked at getting a few smaller tanks, the simple option for trying flavours, or just an early morning minty/menthol vape. But then I saw the prices of last years starter kits. Around 45$ for the Emow Mega, or the Nautilus Mini, both with five coils. The Emow is great for my level of vaping, The Aspire left Lak Si mail centre today.
If I ever get into DTL and sub ohm vaping, then these will be redundant of course. But for now, they hit the spot, even though last generation. And cheap. Tanks on order as well.
I've also ordered a vape stand, and one mod, surrounded by 30 bottles of juice to fill the holes, would look pretty lonely.

I with you on the sense of dread at having to throw out juice because you want a change. With the nautilus, because of how small the wick holes are, it takes a while too, to vape out the old flavour and a weird, sometimes not so nice mix as it's changing over. I admit to owning three nautilus tanks, with different juice in each one. Hehe. Hell yes on the morning minty vape.

I know you are new and it is a big step but an RDA will solve the flavor change problems. You will have to wind your own coils and wick them, but an RDA with a simple build deck is a perfect place to start. This is a skill that most vapers progress to anyway, so why not start now?

Couple of things mate...with the Naut you can tip the juice back into the bottle, the only juice you'll lose is the juice inside the coil (that can be cleaned by a good soak in vodka). Just because you get into DTL doesn't mean you'll stop MTL...most of the day I do MTL and only at night do DTL (that'll save you a small fortune in its self). Get cheap tanks off FT and similar...one for each flavour if need be...LOL

If you have a tank you like buy a couple more, or try a different one. No need to waste juice then. When I'm at home I run 7 rebuildable tanks at once just so I can change flavours as and when I want.
Not a bad idea, but make sure you do your research in to Ohm's law etc. before you start. This can be just as addictive as anything else. Before going back to using sub ohm tanks I was dripping for a couple of years. Loved it and had the same thing. Countless drippers all running at the same time. lol Most with mods as well. lol

The good thing about RDAs right now is that if you don't mind clones, you can get a nice collection on the cheap. $10 US or less a piece if you catch the right deals.

    Congrats!

I see the boys have distributed some valuable advice already. Most likely more to come.
As for me I agree with RDA, Love it, RBA's too. Personally I haven't used a stock coil in a while. So right @ addictive.
I was quite reluctant to experiment with wrapping coils and builds in the beginning, I am so glad I did though, You just have to jump right in, if you are considering to elevate to that route. It is quite fun, I am starting to move on to complex builds now. It does feel good when you learn the behavior of your tank and get that wick just right. Flavor is amazing!

Not quite sure about dripping yet, but it's about time I started playing with the Subtank RBA.

Besides buying more tanks and/or getting an RDA for dripping, there is another option for tasting juices...the good old carto cartridges...Micky sells them (Boge 510XL Cartomizer | Thailand Vapers)...they thread onto a 510 connector and they give you a chance to taste new juices without filling up a tank.

Never thought of using those. Very funny in the description though "Low Resistance 2.0 - 2.4 ohm"

Just watched the PBusardo video on these from 2011. Things seem to have progressed rapidly in a very short period.

Yeah it's a lightning fast progression even now. It's way too easy to get caught up in the hype too. Sometimes you just have to look away for a bit then see what came out over the last month. Doing that may save you a few hundred dollars LOL

Totally agree. I must have saved shed loads over the years, always being a couple of steps behind cutting edge technology. Never catch me camping outside an Apple store for three weeks.
    **Updated**
Not really related, but not worth a new thread. Always found Chinese firms to be good with the customs declarations. My Emow Mega was a "gift", a Kindle was "documents". Aspire Premium starter kit just arrived, "metal tube", best declaration yet.
