Yeap... You are right. What's the brand of the batteries? It's an anti counterfeit check. Underneath it is a series of numbers. After you obtained the numbers. Go to the brand's official website. Key in the exact numbers and validate whether the batteries you just bought are original or fake.
Note: always use only original battery. There are many threads in this forum about it.

Remember Wut from Tucom in Pattaya? Well he opened a little vape shop from his home. Picked them up from him.
    **Updated**
I'm only asking for 7W from my battery, think ill be ok mate.
    **Updated**
Probably why i only paid 250 baht for each. Had them for a week now keeps a charge hell even longer than my Samsungs do seems fine so far no complaints.

So the scratch and sniff is to check whether they are "real fakes" then ?

Not a bad deal there Donkey. Those LGs are solid enough for low power usage and a decent capacity for the price ... What concerns me most is that Mr Wut from Tukcom might believe what's written on the wrap and bundle a couple with a sub-ohm tank making wee teen hipster Nut a posthumous YouTube star before Sonkgran. Cloudzbro!

Just another good reason for regulating the industry rather than driving it underground...though the suggestion that logic or common sense be applied to the current situation is obviously a ridiculous one.

IF they're really HG2 rewraps, they're a solid 20 amp continuous discharge battery and would be suitable for sub-ohm vaping...IF... ;)

Why are they putting themselves at risk ? They have the good sense to buy a VCT4s from a trusted supplier.

Unfortunately not everyone has the same level of knowledge/experience as we do, meaning that these misleading labels on batteries are frankly nothing short of a disaster waiting to happen

Oh, that’s really not so much… converts to roughly 2 to 3 Amps.
    I usually vape around 15, max 20W – safely using 3500mAh 10A cells like Samsung 35E or LG MJ1.

Yeah, actually you never know what you get from a rewrapper.
Each batch they buy and rewrap could be something different.
