I decided I wanted to try out the eVic.
I searched around and found Ovale were selling them on i-careless.com for 3,400 THB
I wanted to find a cheaper one, and i found it on the ThaiEclub site
PingPong was professional, replied to my PMs quick.

I ordered and paid for it by atm transfer on Monday morning, and it was in my hands Tuesday morning.
    The costs was: EVic 1Set = 2199 + 100 ems= 2,299 THB
This included a Free T2CC clearomizer.
    Here is the link:
    PingPong eVic

So the unboxing, here it is:

I noticed where the serial code on the bottom should have been it has been taken off, no biggie for me though

My first thoughts of the device were "Cheap' and 'not great looking'
It was very light to hold, and also with the screen all the way around I could see it breaking if dropped.

So I switched it on, and connected my iClear 30 tank.
At first I was lost with all the settings, I thought I'd never get the hang of it.
One thing I wanted to check was which version of the firmware was installed.
I found the setting and it was already up to date with the lastest 1.2 version of the firmware.

The firmware can be found here:

    Joyetech download

It shows as 1.1 Version but you get the 1.2 version when you install the My Vapor Record V1.2 here:
    Joyetech download

The My Vapor record is kind of cool, here's a little about it:
My Vapor Record (MVR) is a special PC
software of eVic. It has professional
data statistics function which can record your
    vapor information more effectively.

Amazing! The design of PC software realizes
    human-machine interaction through connecting
with computer. After your convenient and quick
setup, you just only click mouse gently, your
vapor record will be displayed on the computer.

After playing around a little, I soon found out how easy it actually is to work, so I set up all the things and then gave it a vape.
Not bad at all, vaping at 8W with the iClear 30 tank tasted good and produced good vapor.

One of the cool things is it shows on the display screen how many seconds you have taken your inhale vape.
I also set up my Puff counter.
This is displayed on my home screen of the device, and it shows me how many puffs I have taken and how many puffs are left in the battery life.
Each day you can re-set the puff counter too.

You can also set it to a maximum amount of puffs you want in a day, it will then warn you if you hit this number.

    A few more pics:

So far I am happy with it, it's not as heavy and well built way as the ProVari or the big old Vamo, but it is nice.
    Loving the puff counter
A big Thumbs up from me, at a great price from PingPong

If you want to see a video review here it is, with an update for version 1.1
NOTE: in version 1.2 it has AM/PM settings, and it also says 'Atomizer Not Found' ..lol...

That is the same kit I got from England. You mention you wanted a better price on your eVic and found it. Just as a price comparison. I submit this: Joyetech Evic - Starter Kits and MODS by VaporTek USA
Look at the bottom of the page for the price. :vaping:

Not easy mate to get But yes it is a great tank, HC had around 500 up for sale and the were sold out within one hour:
Innokin iClear 30 Dual Coil Clearomizer Tank with replaceable coil [C-C5 iClear 30 Clearomizer] - $11.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

I bought mine from an English vendor, I have used them many times:
Innokin iClear30 Dual Coil Tank Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

That's not bad mate really, if I hadn't found the one I did I would have still bought one from i-careless for 3,5000

    Same as on the review

I won't charge that way anyway, I have a normal 18650 charger so I will just use that as normal by taking the battery out, same as any other device

I agree, and so do the reviewers....

I forgot my Puff count for yesterday but I think it was around 400 puffs for the day....

The other place I use is ukecigstore
They have in stock the iTaste SVD kit, which when you break down what you get with the kit it's not that expensive, you get 2 iClear 30 tanks and 3 replacement heads with the kit:

Well, my second day with the eVic
Yesterday as hit and miss, I wasn't sure if I was going to carry on with it or just go back to my ProVari
But today has been a good day, working great with the iClear30 tank so looks like the ProVari will have to wait a while before I use it again..lol:vaping::vaping:

Not surprising as it has 2 coils, a stainless steal drip tip.
I noticed it was a warm vape on my ProVari, but not so much on the eVic

At the end of the day it kicks ass off the Vivi Nova, tastes great and produces lots of vapour.:vaping::vaping:

The battery just died, so I got nearly 2 full days off it, vaping at around 9W
    Not bad....
