I got a bit of GLV, have no idea what mix of PG/VG they use, but I would really like more VG.
If I got my hands on some pure VG and mixed it in I would think it should blend in with the original mix if I gave it a few days with shaking and resting.

It's not that big quantity’s I got, 400-500 ml that I would like to thin out. I got problems with the PG now.

Since you also have the ultrasonic cleaner, I guess, that placing the bottles in the ultrasonic cleaner also would help the blending process. As I know some bought the ultrasonic cleaner for that purpose, But lets hear the experts.

what problems are you having--other than diluting the flavor?

Mostly my mouth and throat is suffering a lot. The juice feels dry and harsh. May loose a little flavour, but I prefer RDA's at home, and Orchid / Aqua driving, so a I readily pay that price. McJuice I can mostly take in smaller quantities, but not in RDA's.

Yes, been thinking about that. But I want to get a few glass bottles first.

Its possible the extra viscosity of the vg is making it harder for the juice to wick properly--thus dry and or harsh hits. Why do you want more VG? for clouds? I use a 20/80 pg/vg ratio but also add about 5% saline solution to make the juice less viscous....

There will be no problems mixing some VG in your juice it will blend in allright, but you do loose some flavor depending on the amount of VG you dilute it with and keep in mind that the PG is the flavor carrier.

i use 50-50 mix and I have no prob with dry hits. I am running right now my Taifun GT2 in .7ohm and at 30watt 50-50mix and no dry hits.

It's not the dry hits, have none of that. My RDA's I likes to be between 45-70 watts. I have never been that fond of PG, and even when I started vaping the throat hit was a bit hard for me. My problem is simple, my body don't like PG. There is some loss of flavour yes, but with the equipment I use I'm quite happy up to 80% VG that is about the highest I have tried so far.
I vape constantly through the day and I like the smooth, velvet feeling of the VG juice.

I use rayon, and with some careful wicking my Orchid's and Aqua performs very well. I want to enjoy my vape, not coughing and feeling less than good just to get some nic.

And I'm no cloud chaser no :) I likes some vape yes, but it is really the two thing's together, I get physical reactions to PG, and I prefer VG vape.

I mostly mix my own juice, so I do not have the flavor problem. I also prefer higher VG juice, because when I vape all day I can feel some discomfort at the end of the day and I dont get this when I use high VG juice.
I just add more flavor than i would do to a 80-20 PG-VG mix. But no prob for you to mix some more VG in your juice I have done that before I started to mix my own..

McJuice is I believe already 65% VG. So if if you can't drip that then a high PG juice, as you say GLV is, is going to need a good amount of VG. If GLV were 50/50 and you wanted 80 VG then in a full 30ml bottle you want to take 50% of the juice (15ml) and make that your 20% for the PG.

If you have a 50/50 mix originally you take your PG content, (15ml) and devide by 20 to get one percent PG of your new mix. Multiply that by 80 to get your total VG content for the new mix and subtract your original 15ml of VG. That should leave 45. So you need to add 45ml of VG to get an 80%vg mix from a 30ml bottle of 50/50. Not only will this dilute your flavour by 1.5 times it will also dilute your Nicotine by the same amount.

If I have my maths correct that is. LMAO

Just worked out flavouring percentage. if I use an fair example figure of 20% flavouring in the original 30ml. (Not to high and not too low I think) That would be 6ml of flavouring in 30ml.

Put that figure in your new mix of 75ml. That works out to be only 8%.
    **Updated**
Original 6mg nic would go down to 1.5mg/ml nic (I think) LOL

Thanks for all input, and Longtail1 for the math :grin:And I really don't need that much nic anymore, so it should not be any problem either.
