1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

I want to get my vivi nova to produce more vapor.
Not much more, freelife 70/30 is o.k but a little bit more would be nice.

Does anybody know where to get 50/50 or more vg than 50.
I just want to try a few samples before I start changing wicks and clearomisers or making my own juice.
So 10ml sample bottles is what I'm looking for.

As a side note does any body know anywhere that can beat Mickys freelife 50bht a bottle for price.I doubt it but no harm in asking.

I have some Vapor Mist 50/50 juices if you want them...all 12 mg nic 15 ml

Apricot, Tutti Fruity, creaming soda, grape, bubble gum and strawberry.

    They all produce good vapor

If you buy in bulk you will probably get cheaper than 50 baht.... but I think you will have to buy a lot

That would have been great except that I am down to 6mg nickkotine and I don't have a sweet tooth but if you told me where you got them i could try for low nicotine.
At least I have a brand that I can search for, vapor mist.
    Thanks

But he's not making juices now because he had a bike accident, but you can ask him and see what he has in stock

e-liquidthai. com has Dekang no-flavor 100% VG, 10ml bottle for 100Baht that you could add to your juice.
    :vaping:

Or go to a pharmacy and ask if they have VG (must be labeled USP, safe for human consumption). Should be much cheaper.

That sounds perfect,Ithink he has concentrate aswell to
compensate for the loss of flavour.
Some tools would be good aswell to measure exactly how much I'm adding, like a pipette or a syringe.

Should I expect the juice to act differently in my cigarette in any way, like cleaning more often, needing more volts once the pg has gone up.

    Thanks for your help.

About half my juice is 70/30 and half 50/50, in vape it all at 10.5 watts and there's not a whole lot of difference in vapor production. I see no difference in buildup on my attys, but I pretty much only use SS rope and kanthal ribbon so I don't think I would notice as much anyways.

What I do notice is the 50/50 has a little less throat hit, but I vape 18mg so you might notice a bigger difference. Also, VG is thicker, so for example on my gennys I have to tilt a little more with 50/50, but really not much since I use rope. With my Protank, it takes a little longer for the wick to soak up the juice with 50/50, so I find myself getting weak hits a little more often (just take a few cold draws to pull the juice in).

Plenty of people out there cape pure PG or 90/10 VG/water, and we all use the same gear, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. If I was going for a really high VG juice, I'd probably just use less silica in my Protank or drill out the wick holes in my gennys a tiny bit.

    Right,
I've peen posting here a lot lately basically because my vivi nova is giving off just a little too little vape for me.

I've been down a lot of avenues, learned a lot and got a lot of help for which I am grateful for.

Now the solutions which I'm exploring are getting very simple.
Put a few drops of pure VG in my juice.
Also, the wick, when I'm buying them which amount of ohms is best.More or less ohms.
Also when I go re wicking what wick type is best for more vapor, thick or thin, long or short, many or few strands.

We will solve this problem yet guys, nearly there, many thanks

Ohms doesn't matter so much if you are using a VV/VW mod, but if not then you'll just have to try them out to see what works best for you. Theoretically, a lower Ohm coil will heat up faster, but use more energy in doing so. This is why (if you ever look into it) sub-ohm mods are so popular and also so dangerous - they can draw so much power it can short the battery. Personally, I like my coils around 1.8 Ohms, but since I use a SVD it doesn't make a difference if its 3 Ohms or 1.4 Ohms.

For wick, in theory the more wicks the better, in practice that doesn't really work out. You are trying to pull juice to the coil, so there are a lot of other factors. There is no "best type" for more vapor. Some people swear by Ekowool, some people love cotton, but I just use silica. I burn it until its white hot prior to using it however, since the silica I have tastes real bad if I don't. You want to use enough wick to supply your coil, but you have to make sure the coil isn't so tight that you're choking off the flow of juice. If there is a hole you are going through into the atomization chamber, the wick has to be big enough that you don't flood the chamber and small enough that you aren't choking off the juice supply. With my Protank, I use .20 Kanthal with an 8 wrap microcoil, 1mm silica wick and a 1mm flavor wick, which works fine on 50/50. I get a little bit of flooding however when I switch to 70/30.

If I were you, I would just order some different sized silica and get some wire from Micky and just play around with it. Watch videos, eventually you'll get the hang of it and things will become second nature. You may even want to just bite the bullet and switch to an RBA - I have a Steam Turbine coming from FastTech that I will load up with SS Rope and dual coils, so you know the thing will be clouding up the room. They're trickier to set up - you will basically always get shorts if you are using SS mesh or SS rope - but you'll learn after a bit how to make them go away quickly. Another thing I like about them is that if I'm out and pop my coil, I can just back off a wrap or two and be working again in a few seconds.
