Hey guys, so I got an OBS ACE Tank the other day and been vaping on it for the past days.
I am using a Joyetech eVic VTC mini with the stock battery.
Before starting to vape today I reset the "puff counter" and the timer.
I was vaping with the .85 Ohm ceramic coil that came with the tank and I vaped on a range from 30W to 40W.
Now after 513 seconds of vape time and 78 puffs the device is telling me that the battery is too weak.
Is that normal or is my battery already damaged?
Should I buy a new battery? If so which one would you guys recommend?

    Thank you again!

What type of battery is it and how old is it? 513 seconds is 8.5 minutes...how long a time span did this take?

Irrespective of the answers to the above questions, I'd suggest getting at least 2 new batteries forthwith.

Hey thanks, the battery is about 3 weeks old but been only in use for about 7 days the time span was about 1:30h, switching the device on and off between puffs.
    It says "INR18650PHH 16D07A 7.2Wh" on it.
I´ll check out your thread, thanks again.

Joyetech doesn't ship those kits with batteries so I presume it's a generic 2000 mAh battery from whomever sold you the device. You shouldn't have (nor want) to switch the mod on/off between puffs...may even deplete the battery faster doing so.

Get some Sony VTC5/6 (make sure they're not fakes), LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q batteries...I don't vape at those powers so I don't know what's normal but 1.5 hrs. doesn't sound right.

Buy some good high drain batteries like VTC4/5, 25R or HE2/4,etc. and stop using the unknown stock battery for safety sake.

I've heard this as well...apparently, the genuine HG2's have a white insulator on top that is textured, not smooth.
