1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

We've been aware of the TPD and its ramifications for quite some time. It won't happen here because vaping is not legal.

I can confirm that it is for new purchases only. I'm a member of the Danish Vapor organisation, and they have sent tons of information about the new rules out to their members. From now on you can only buy vape gear that is approved, but the gear you have is not illegal to use, it is only the sale that is banned. What you already have will be legal to use and bring in public as long as it last. So no worries about that. You will even be able to sell your gear that is not approved legally but only to private people. A store can't sell it.

Hopefully one day Thailand will realize banning E-Cigs could deter tourists who vape from coming to Thailand.
In any case it probably not going to happen soon.

it would be a dream come through, if Turist would avoid Thailand as turist destination because of the e-cigarette ban. Then maybe there would be a change in Thailand, if they loose Turist money. But I'm not to optimistic.

It would be a great help if one of those big European forums, informed TAT that they are informing
there membership of the draconian way that Thailand Interperet an archaic customs ruling and possibly
deprive the country of many ,many thousands of visitors......................lol

And its not just Big Tobacco thats causing the problem, Big Pharma is also trying to stamp them out, less people smoking = less people getting sick = less people spending money on medicines and chemo etc.

Saving millions of lives is not in the interests of the elite.

    Control is.
