    Hi guys,

I'm really interested in box mods and one of them will be my next buy. I see that 80% of the hand checks are now with box mods and i guess there is a reason for that.

I read some threads here about those but i still would like your advices. It seems like the market is evolving very quickly but as most of you guys own at least one, your advice will always be helpful.

What i would like about it:
-I would obviously like it to be reliable (from what i read, guess i'll already forget cloupor).
-I would like to be able to vape a large range of atomizers. I want to vape on my Nautilus (1.5-1.8 ohm) but also be able to sub-ohm if i want to (one of the new sub-ohm tank such as the atlantis for example, or even a sub-ohm build on a RTA).
-I would prefer it to work with 18650 batterie(s) or with a usb rechargeable battery (no other format such as 18500 or else).

    ->How high should i consider the wattage ? 30 ? 35? 40? 50? Why ?
->Would you say it's ok to go with a clone when it's about those devices ?

I took a quick look on FT and added some to my wish list:

    -IP V2 7w-50w
    -H-ANA MODZ DNA 30 / 40 / 50
    -Eleaf istick 2w-20w
    -D2 DNA 35 7-35W
    -SX 300 G-sensor 7w-50w

    Any recommendations ? Any no-go ?

    Thanks :)

iPV mini would be decent punt, not sure if it's 'funny' ohm reader would handle a sub tank or not. iStick 30w is another decent option. The iStick 50w isn't too far away.

I'd recommend something cheap and authentic. I'd avoid all the Hana box clones on FT whether they be DNA or SX, there are better options for similar money.

I'd say the IPV mini, the Sigeli mini is coming out soon
Also Kanger are getting a box mod out
The iSticks are popular, but if it was me I'd go for the ones which you can change the 18650 battery myself...
The HCigar SX on Big has for sale looks neat, good chip and if it's anything like the Youtube reviewers one clean inside where the chip is...

And I'll chime in with a couple of old favorites...the VS rDNA30, which Micky is selling for Bt 4,999 and the VS rDNA40, which Platinum has for Bt 7,999 (as I recall). I tend to buy mods that cost a bit more...I feel that paying for quality (and a known commodity in the case of the rDNA30) gives the best chance of getting a mod that will last a good long while with a little care...YMMV

If you have the money to buy that you can't go wrong.
Just buy it, you'll love it, just don't put the battery in the wrong way...
Again very good and the updated Big screen version, I've been told you can put the battery in the wrong way but I wouldn't try it myself just in case...

    Sigelei 100 Watts+.
i mentioned this in other threads: reliable, dual 18650 battery, cover easy to remove but secured by the strong magnets. Good chip. 100 Watts because even if you don't use let's say above 50 watts/ or not yet but maybe later/ it's good to know you have the power available while using it on lower watts gives a stellar battery life.
Has a spring loaded 510 pin and takes every Atty. Sub-Ohm's no problem as well as higher ohm's because of the power available.

90$ now from here and you get a quality authentic which looks good IMO.

$90.58 Authentic Sigelei-100W Plus Variable Wattage APV Box Mod - 10.0W-100W / 2*18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I would have to go with the Sig 100+ as well. I only drip at high wattage, so don't know much about the lower watt devices, but this will give a good bvattery life on low wattage and also give you room to experiment at higher wattage if you want to without having to upgrade.

Sig 100+/150 is also a good shout if you don't mind the extra bulk. The batteries would probably last a week with a Nautilus.

A bit bulky yes but good in the hand as well. I know it's personal preference but i am using it a lot more than the IPV V2.

I liked the Sigelei a lot, not something I would carry around with me but when I started to use it at home I used it a lot and it basically retired my mechanicals to the shelf.

I've got isticks, IPV mini and Sigelei 100w. The Sig is obviouly the biggest box I own by far but strangely enough it's the one that actually feels best in my hand.
