Network fired up over electronic cigarette ban

A network of e-cigarette users yesterday pressed the National Legislative Assembly to consider lifting the ban on the import, production, sale and possession of electronic cigarettes.

As far as I know its illegal in Cambodia, Indonesia and Singapore. Not sure about the Philippines but I was there a year ago and it wasn't a problem. I was getting strange looks but I always get strange looks. I have been told that there are plenty of places that were selling vaping gear in Manila, but didn't visit any.

 

I could be wrong about Indonesia, I had read on a site that it was banned (i think this one: Which Countries Have Banned E Cigarettes? - Vapors Digest )

Although, I can only find reports of a proposed ban and not anything about it officially going through. There are posts on Reddit that say its illegal to bring them into the country, but not have them in your possession in country. Also according to a post on Quora, its not treated anywhere nearly as badly as illegal drugs and confiscation is the worse you would experience.
