So I recoil my IGO and check my work. Coil comes out at 0.8 ohms. Good. I smack a 30A battery into my Magneto and check the the volts. 4.05 volts. Good. I put the IGO on the Magneto and hit the fire button. Got nothing. I put the IGO on my 134 and got red. I put the IGO back on the Magneto and got nothing again. And I got nothing with my Vivi Nova, my Protank, and my iClear. The effing Magneto is registering volts, but no power is going to my tanks or drippers. Why is this happening? Should I get a new mech? Are my tanks and drippers shot to hell? I hate when equipment doesn't function.

I'll second that. Likely the pin on the Magneto isn't making contact.

^ and ^^: So I take it the volt reader just goes deeper? Guess I will have to find a paperclip somewhere.

Doesn't the Magneto have a floating pin, or is yours the screw type? Either way you should be able to move it to where it needs to be.

Mine is the screw type. I pulled the screw out, cleaned it, and put it back, tightening the hell out of it. Still nothing. I also cleaned the negative contact and checked the spring action. Again, I put a battery in it and checked the volts. The volt meter lights up, so there is current going through it. It just won't fire anything.

I had the same with a nemesis which is as basic as you can get. In the end I stripped it totally and gave the threads a good clean. Still to this day don't know what the problem was.

Now it's working. I screwed my volt meter onto the Magneto and then my dripper onto the volt meter. Hit the fire button and got the magical red glow! I then removed the volt meter and screwed the dripper directly onto the Magneto. Guess what? It worked! Still, this gives me an excellent excuse to buy an IGO-W and either a Panzer Black Hawk or Stingray Copper mech! First of the month means shopping time! After all, we can't have unstable mechs lying around, can we?
