    Hi there, I'm new here. I married a Thai wife and plan to retired in Thailand and would like to make mod locally as a hobby, will this be a problem?

    Well, if this is a local business, which I use all local materials, labor and I pay tax as a legal entity, will this then be legal?

    When i start vaping in 2013, there where a Mod maker in Thailand called Siam Mods, but they where not allowed to sell there products in Thailand, only sell out of the country. Since the laws have been changed in late 2014 to somewhat more restricted, I am quiet sure, that the selling also of local manufactured mods will be illegal. But ok, that is just an opinion on what happened with Siam Mods, so check it out, but I don't have to much hope.

    Hello, and welcome to TV. I only know about life in the sticks, but if you're coming to live in your wife's hometown or village upcountry, I can almost guarantee that you will have no problem with the BiB. Very much live and let live, and a few baht sorts out most problems. Enjoy life in LoS, I do.
    PS. Just seen Dieter's post. If you want to make custom mods for sale, certain online forums are probably a good way to find customers.

    Frustrating, I was actually thinking to move my hobby up here when I retired in couple of years, hopefully by then it will change.

    Smoking is just so nasty.

    Would like to see some custom made mods. Not much to worry if keep in low profile. Many people selling ecig or related items all over the internet, which supposed is illegal.
