    Hi guys,

Just got this Kayfun Lite clone from FT: $13.89 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5ml) - clear tank section / stainless steel / PVD coating at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The thing is leaking by the air hole and after reading a bit of the FT forum about it, i think it's because i can't get a good seal due to the fact that the chimney is too short... Sounds unreal to me with so many good reviews.

Here is an actual picture that describes the problem:

Here i putted the chimney in the top part where it should be for the tank to be sealed. But we can see then that the missing part (on the left) is way too big.

    Questions:

-Can i take off all the o-rings between the parts of the tank to gain (maybe) something like 0.5 mm ? Will it then leak from everywhere... ?
-A guy said that he fixed this problem by putting some o-rings between the chimney's top and the chimney's bottom... Does that sound like a good idea ? They actually seem to me like they are barely touching each other. This plus the fact that i obviously don't have any o-ring who could fit the chimney !
-Should i just return it to FT ? What would you do ?

Thanks for your help guys :)

    Cheers

When you say too short, the chimney, when screwed down, isn't long enough to reach the o-ring in the top cap?
Can you unscrew the chamber a little? does it leak like that?

Tell them they also have shit ones in the warehouse too. None of them vape and don't know their arses from their elbows when it comes to this subject.

When screwed down, it seems like it's barely touching the o-ring in the top cap.

So i just tried to unscrew the chamber a bit and put 2 o-rings between it and the chimney:

Unfortunately, same result... Vapor is great but gurgling a lot and leaking by the air hole...

I'll be a bit pushy for a refund...

I'm not as keen on FT as I once was and they are no longer my "go to" vendor.

Whoopee for them, they have a warehouse full of defective Kayfuns. What a dumb response from them.

They'll try to frustrate you into submission. They don't vape and it's unlikely they will check to see if a lot of issues with returns actually exist unless it's a simple one.

Some dude sent them back a hana mod before the end of the year, only it was a piece of wood with a hana picture stuck to it lol which is why I think they now ask for videos etc.

Also, and I am guessing here, due to the volume they can sell, manufacturers, in some cases, probably get lumbered with shipping costs and the video can help decide whether they should just send a straight replacement without the need for a return.
