A few of you might know about the new Kanger Subox , with no adjustable 510 pin.
Well Kanger have done it again, they will now be getting out onto the market a newer version with a spring loaded 510

As i've said before, Kanger are the worst for this crap and I stay clear of their products due to this....

That is also my concern with them, they always come with something unfinished, and when people complain loudly enough they change it, but I really feel sorry, for the people who buy it first.

Well at least they are listening and adjusting their products, plus their products are dead cheap and good enough quality.

I have the first subtank and the mini and both are great tanks for the price IMHO. the new kit with the box is quite the deal for a begginer also with almost everything to get you started.

It is better than other companies making the same mistakes over and over again with the second version of their products like Aspire or Cloupor...

Well the 510 is the only reason this didnt go on my list, but as I have loads now and my own in the pipeline(very slow pipeline) I doubt I will be getting one.

was pretty simple really ... I didn't go for the V1 because of the fixed pin and just thought I'd wait for the V2, as most suspected they would do.

I'm glad they listened, and are bringing out this new version asap.

Why they didn't get it right in the first place is definitely open to conjecture I s'pose ...

But in a industry that is constantly evolving almost weekly, maybe even daily, they do seem to hurry to get new ideas out there and leave a lot to trial and error, and maybe a little apathy on their R&D dept.
In the haste to get things out quickly, they then have to rely on customer feedback to fix the bugs.
I don't think they deliberately are trying to rip people off buy 'staging' new product releases - well, I hope not. Maybe they are doing that, who knows?
Anyway, I'm willing to give them the benefit of doubt.

Look at the development of the Subtanks - imo the Subtank Plus now ticks all the boxes for me, altho I do have a few of the original Subtanks and yes, they were not perfect, but still work great mostly and I'm not unhappy I bought them.

After I got the Kanger Mega a long while back, I thought I wouldn't be buying any more of their products, but i think they have improved a lot since then.

I steered clear of this one mainly because it didn't have TC. It seemed like a cool setup from an aesthetic standpoint, but I'm really enjoying TC right now, and already have plenty of straight wattage devices.

Tbh, never even looked close enough at it to notice it had a fixed pin.

The more I see of this box the less I like it.
Apart from design it offers nothing I don't already have (I'm sure that goes for most of us).
The days of me buying something just to try it out are gone, it's nearly always an anticlimax. I think the iStick50 has been the only exception for me.

I hear you, it's getting harder and harder for me to justify buying *anything* for a while, as I'm pretty much covered in most mod/rta/rda areas. I have a 3 pre-orders out, and I'm looking at one other mod (Cloudmaker modular mod), but all of those are want-to-have stuff.

I'll probably have to pare my collection down soon, but I'm still in my first year of vaping. From what I've read by long time vapers in other forum sites, they were in the acquisition phase for the first year or two when they started, then settled down to more modest collections. Please God let me reach that phase! :)

Except a Kayfun, all my tanks are now from Kanger. I am enjoying a lot all the improvements on the latest models, but I am still using the older models with pleasure, the Aerotanks for example. The only one I discarded is my old Protank, but her lifetime already passed my initial expectations. I understand we may feel disappointed if the tank we just bought is already replaced by a more advanced one, maybe Kanger should release some "beta" tanks for testing purpose first, before putting their tanks on the market. But after all, I prefer a company listening to her customers and applying changes without delay than another stuck on initial model without possible improvement. Hopefully, the vape market is quite large now and every body is able to choose following his own preferences
As for now, in hurry to test the new OCC vertical coils!

In my opinion this is a disappointment of a mod. For the same or similar price you can buy the joyetech evic vt temp control box. I don't think many people should consider this unless it's their first box mod purchase.

Apparently the evic VT is not flawless either.

You're right, but if both carry the same price tag then the evic vt will be a better option . I did not like the temp control on it when I compared it with the vapor shark rdna 40 and dna 40. It's nowhere near as good.
But we had our first order un yesterday and today were sold out. Overall if I compare the 2 devices together then I will definitely go with the evic vt

A good point compared to the cheap mods in the same category, the K-Box mini has rechargeable 18650 battery whereas others have built in internal battery, not changeable. I like my iStick 30W a lot, it is tiny and working good, but I regret that it will be no use as soon as the internal battery is dead.
