This is why I like Japanese cotton. The wicks in the picture look as dry as a... dry thing, still got a good hit from it without any dry/burnt taste. Don't usually let it get this dry but it's nice to know that I can.

Or rayon is a great choice, wicks as good if not better (I feel better), has higher temp capabilities (When dry approx 500 F vs. cotton 400 F) before charring or burning and it generally lasts longer than any cotton. Also transitions better between juices. Rayon has been pretty much all I have been using for quite a while

Where does one buy rayon wick material?
I got a little from Rick and agree it is a great medium-but sure where it is available?

Incidentally, got a call from Central Festival Chiang Mai adding that they now have Organic Japanese cotton again.

Probably best buying overseas. Plenty of places carry it. Lightweight and very cheap so totally worth it IMO.

Make sure description reads 100% rayon. Some places use term cellucotton for the product and that's OK but some varieties are cotton. Examples of 100%:

Yes, don't suppose the postage would be much-it weighs less than the paper envelope!
    Will check out out.

You can get a 500ft box for something like $14, A lot of places that sell it won't ship here though.

That's the problem, Rick, might just wait until school holidays in June and order in UK.

I think it's readily available on eBay. Slightly more expensive and shipping costs more than the Rayon itself depending on how much you're buying.
