i ll second that, even thou i ve tried others like the Vamo V5 the power of the SVD is still the best i have, i am really looking for another good one at a reasonable price (i really dont want to spend so much for a ProVari cause imho its at least for 2 years outdated feat. wise)

btw, is there a reasonable priced DNA20+ Mod for sale anywhere?

^^DNA's? "Reasonably priced?" Well not really, at least not now. Give it a couple months and the Chinese will clone the price down.

Pretty reasonable price for a great device ( at least in the context of cigarettes in Australia approaching 600 Baht per packet)

I love the SVD also. I now take it out with the 18350 batteries no probs. The 18650 makes it too long IMO for travelling. Still not yet really cranked in up. I'm happy with 6 watts on 2 ohm clearos.

dont know as far i recall it they sell the DNA 20 chip just for as less as 50 bucks or somewhat in that area, i really wondering why no manufacturer had the idea of offering extension tubes in various diameters which offers space and display area of the DNA chip, then everybody could updgrade their mechmod with a DNA 20, thats pretty much similar to the Kick Mod. I am sure you could earn decent money just with the extension tubes and they would be really low tech on top of it

There are DNA box mods you can buy for around $130, which is pretty cheap. The Sigeli 20w has the DX200 chip, which IS the Chinese knock-off of the DNA, and the thing is still $125-150.

Smokeless Smoking - Electronic Cigarettes Sigelei 20W (20 Watt)

I would love to see a replacement head for the Semovar that can house the DNA chip. They make the Nivel replacement a 2 minute process. It would be awesome to be able to swap out a DNA 20 board for a DNA 40 without having to buy any more metal.

Just to hit up the SVD guys....any resistance when screwing in an Iclearxx? I rotate it with another mod so can't remember now and I was thinking there was some center pin spring?. Today I'm getting no resistance at all. The tanks just seat and that is that. Still vaping fine. 18350's for travel and 18650 for the room.

The pin on the SVD is not spring loaded unfortunately. You probably just wore in the threading.
