Hi. What is your policy in the event of a shipment being seized by customs?

Personally I don't understand the question. A package being seized is nothing to do with vendor. Once it ships they have zero control over it so cannot be held responsible for anything happening to it aftrr it leaves them. But maybe I am missing something here

 

Allow me to clarify why I asked, what I thought was a simple question. Various vendors have different strengths, from immediate shipping, cheapest price, best warranty, full refunds inside a specific time period for defective goods.
If I'm going to order a higher value item then I have to way up the risks involved with potential seizure against purchase cost, against warranty etc. I use a number of different vendors depending upon the item I wish to purchase.

 

Very few if any vendors have a policy that you would get your money back if the item is seized...it's not the vendors responsibility but the buyers to make sure what they are purchasing is legal in their country and if it's not then it's the buyers risk.

For customs like Thailand, we would just re-send another package (only for singpost, we won't accept DHL or Ems); for customs that ecigs are strictly banned and will be seized in most cases, we won't send the package unless customers are willing to shoulder the risk
