1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Ive got a Nautilus Mini, (actually 2) and overall Im prettu chuffed with its performance.

My only problem is that the *ping* you get from that first draw after changing the atomizer does not last very long. I vape at 8 watts, and find the coils last me 3 days before the flavor is starts to taste mute.

Though I would continue using it, I was wondering what is the Nautilus Mini's competitor - i.e. a kick ass tank that produces outstanding flavor?

    A friend recommended Kanger AeroTank

    Any suggestions ?

I personally loved the Kanger Mega. I would recommend it especially now that they are releasing subohms coils wich gives you a wider range of choice.

Other than that, seems that you are slowly drifting to rebuildables.. That would be the real step up flavorwise.

If you want to stay in disposables coils than yes Kanger is for me the way to go as their best tank is (for me) actually nicer than Aspire's one.

Have you considered the Nautilus...I personally like it better than the N-Mini.

3 days isn't very long...I'm getting a month out of the BVC coils in my Nauts that are vaped everyday at 10.5 watts (1.8-2 ohms).

agree with SD (but, i only get about 2 weeks fm my BVC's - depends on how many set-ups yr using at the one time, and how much you are vaping daily anyways) ...

also, I don't think the Kanger Aerotanks (I have the Mega) are better than the Nauti's with the BVC's (maybe they will come to 'life' with the sub-ohm coils tho)

I also think what kind of e-juice you use...

I can hear that PattsVaper and Siam almost only use GLV,most of them are the light tinted juices that are not clogging up the coils, that's why they can last up to a month with one.

I mostly use MBV juices which are mostly darker and I also would use 1 coil in 3 days...rebuildables are just better for me!

It's true, I only have GLV juices in my Nauts. But I have New Minister 23 and Southern Shine in 2 of the 3 most used tanks...they're both on the darker side (Baja Breeze is the other one and it's definitely light).

MBV are fine in Kangers tanks for it was my set up at the beginning.

I've found the Mini was more efficient with thinner juices.

I have 2 Nautilus Minis - one with my 'All Day Vape' and one with a random flavor I vape on a little once or twice in a three day period.

The ADV one I vape -usually around 300-400 puffs in 24 hours, at 8 watts, juices Ive used have been MBV mostly and if not, usually ones which tend to be medium to medium-dark colored.

If I get 5 days - I jump with joy - but it usually is 3-4. On day 2-3 the taste starts going flat, and soon afterwards there is the burnt taste.

Have you guys found the coils of the Aerotank lasting a little longer than those used for the Mini - or are they more or less the same ?

Kayfun for the win, and you will never look back or have to buy an atomizer ever again

I think you mean Erlkönigin for the win...and for Pierrev the Erlprinz...

Ok, I like the KayFun too but because it is so easy to set up and clean but the Queen has just a much better taste, throat hit and is super light compared to the KayFun...

The Kayfun is easily the biggest disappointment of my, admittedly short, vaping career.

I may have got a dud but I'd be interested to vape someones if/when I get to a meet and hopefully confirm / change my current opinion of it.

You anywhere near Ram Intra? Cuz if you think the Kayfun is a dud, you're doing something wrong. If you swing by I can fix you up.

Erlkönigin...haven't tried it yet but am planning on buying a clone when big gets more in. Even so the Erlkönigin is still pretty much a kayfun clone as it uses the same principles. Same with the orchid. The thing all these tanks basically have in common are they are relatively easy to coil and deliver excellent flavor and vapor.

It's hard to think that anyone would go from a clearo style tank to a kayfun style tank and want to go back to throwing away coils, less flavor and vapor.

It's possible I am. I'm not getting dry hits or gurgling / leaking, I'm just getting a ridiculously tight vape that isn't pleasurable for me in the slightest
