this thread is for everybody who wants to post.

i got my eleaf aster and my melo 3 mini :congratulations:

unfortunately i don't have a battery or liquid :completely forgotten:

the aster is heavier than i thought.
i wanna build a stand for it.

first i will take a candy box, you get it at tesco.
then i will put some coins or metal at the bottom and fill it up with play-doh.
maybe i find some from my little daughter or i buy some new.

of course in the middle of the box a hole which fits perfectly for the aster.

i am just not sure what to put on the play-doh to make it hard.
    maybe some instant glue? :chinrub:

    anyone a better idea?

i just went to the car to check if this candy box fits in the bottle-holder :D
well, not perfectly, but it is possible.
i have a lot of these boxes, they have no sharp edges
and are great for collecting screws or nails or whatever

I use Lego bricks for RDA holders. The 510 pin fits great in the Lego holes :very good: My son builds my atty stands. For mods, glass candle holders from IKEA work great for my mechs. Haven't found anything for my box mods yet.

she is just on a lego trip :D

for the aster stand, i don't want glass or any breakable materials

How about a mobile phone stand? That works well for mods like a Tesla, or any other rectangular mod.

    mobile phone stand - Google-Suche

most of them are not good enough for a safe stand.
the pink shoe in the 4th row might be ok,
or the wood stand with the hole next to the shoe.

but i think my own one will be the most fast available.
i am not a regular customer at tukcom in pattaya,
but most i see are these plastic hands to hold the mobile,
like the one next to the wood one

I'm quite a clumsy person, but I find that box mods stand up quite well by themselves. For the car, I put the mod in the door pocket, wedged with a five baht pack of tissues.

yeah, some years ago i put it in the door pocket too.

at home on the table i prefer something more stable, if you push the table by accident

Get a Reuleaux or other big box mod for at home...it didn't tip over yet because with three batteries it is almost impossible

first one mod must be enough.
    we'll see for the future.

it will not take too much effort to make my stand like i want.
i had one already some years ago when i was vaping

This link may give you some ideas...and there are a lot of guys making custom stands on the web. FWIW, I only use stands for my tube mods as they tend to be much less stable! ;)
    Mod Stands
It's always advisable to have a backup mod just in case disaster strikes your primary mod (even something like a Joyetech Aio). It's not like you can nip down to the 7-11 and get a new one! :)

My motto: backups for your backups' backups! :D

Backups are always good. I have 15 backups now. Not sure which is backing up what! Bit ridiculous really but I'm sure some others have even more!

i still have an e-roll set here :D
well, before i put more money into it.
i have to find out if i stay with vaping.
if i really vape everyday, i can look for back-up.
but anyway, as it takes only 1 day if i order from this forum, i not worry too much.
    **Updated**
btw, i just come from tesco, bought play-doh,
of course it is too soft.
tomorrow i will buy wall-put (this thing you take for closing holes in the wall)
    **Updated**
    very nice :bravo:

but more for those people with a lot hardware.
for my single mod i just want a single stand
    **Updated**
some years ago i build a stand for my e-roll.
it was a candle holder and far as i remember i used sand.
made it wet, let it dry.
maybe i still have it somewhere
