1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

Honestly, I just want to quit

The basic kit I had was doing fine - I hadn't smoked in weeks, then it fell apart; literally. I gave up & now back to chugging SMS & Wonder. Don't try to buy off ebay - it doesn't come through; customs pricks just take it for themselves. Any import; forget it. They probably sell it on.

I'm in a pretty nasty mood. Starting to hate Thailand for this and several other reasons - been here 4 years and don't want to go home, just don't want to be here.

Plenty of Thai vendors both on here and on their own sites with mods, tanks and juices who can send via ems within 24 hours...

If you want to quit I would advice you to order this morning the following and you will be happily vaping Monday again!

Mod: ( A lot of vapers like this mod)
eVic-VTC Mini (Firmware Upgradeable V.3) | Thailand Vapers

Atty: (Mouth to Lung tank with a great taste)
Aspire Nautilus & Nautilus Mini | Page 2 | Thailand Vapers
Also buy two packs of extra coils, 1.8 ohm!

2 Batteries: ( Very good batteries and if you want to do sub ohming in the future you can)
    Sony VTC 5 2600mAh. 30A. original | Thailand Vapers

    Charger:
Charger Nitecore i2 - i4, Efest soda | Thailand Vapers

Juice: ( A few bottles of juice)
Mt Baker Vapor USA E-Liquid | Product Categories | Veni Vidi Vapor

    Happy vaping!

Ps. Because I don't know what you want to spend to start vaping again I wrote what I would buy if I suddenly didn't have any vape gear anymore and needed a quick and really good setup. You can always charge the mod with the USB cable that comes with it, so you actually only need one battery and you don't need a charger. Also you can go for cheaper juice options...

It can be done buying only locally. I haven't bought from OS in over a year. Give the local vendors a go if you want to start again.

Agreed with the rest of the comment.

Get it from a local vendor before Songkran starts. Post office and vendors will be closed

3 - 4 years is about the time to let reality kick in. Now I know not only the surface, the pretty girls, the delicious food. Now I see the dirty corners and the rotten details.

That brought me down too, but in Singapore. I was probably quite nasty as a colleague and friend.

You can solve your problem. There is always a way.

Yeah, 3-4 years and the rose colored glasses go bye bye. Try travelling outside of LOS for a while. Let's put it like this, USA makes me miss Thailand. Just get some new mods and see how it goes.

    Seconded, nice layout above.

Feellife liquids are cheaper, for those who want to keep costs down. Mt baker is probably better taste, but Feellife is cheaper, generally taste ok and has nic in it ...

Evic vtc mini great for price point, very flexible, will provide power to most setups. Nautilus I only just bought, and love it. Extra coils, very wise idea. Nitecore been very reliable, as have Sony batteries.

    Thanks @Konvict ...

As for "falling off the wagon", pick yourself back up, dust yourself off and try again. Quitting smoking for many is a process that takes time, and patience :)

    All the best ...

What city are you in? You might find a board member near by with some gear that they no longer use and would sell cheap..

I've been here 4 years off now with a sandwich year in Singapore in the middle of that and 3 straight years in Singapore prior to that. Also 50-odd trips here when I wasnt residing here. I agree totally that everything isnt perfect and I definitely lost my rose tinted glasses a few years back now. But I was watching a video on the TPD introduction in the UK on the 20th May this year today and it hit home totally. We arent so bad over here. Yes, we need to go through some bullshit to get our gear but in the main it aint so bad. Over there you'll only be able to get a Blu from big tobacco in a year or so. Yes, black markets will appear, but would you rather have the Thai police or the UK police looking after the black markets? I know where I'd be going for my shit!

Sorry, that sounded like a bit of a rant! So, to the OP - don't lose the faith brother! You can get some decent kit here that will do the job. Some sound advice on good kit was given in this thread and I wish you all the best mate! Its never easy, but its worth the effort for your health!

Not at all a rant. And even if it was, then a good one.

I'm sure I have to gear to rid.

Also I order gear from fast tech .. Never had a problem. Can take a couple or so weeks to get here but so worth it.

As for your feelings of being here I could not agree more. I find as a foreigner here .. I hate the f@$&"ing word farang .. It is tough. There is def a lot of discrimination.

And agreed I don't wanna return to my home country either. We are looking around .. May jump ship to another Se Asian country and eventually head towards Europe in a few years. We are looking out for what will be best for our small child.

Cheers love. If you ever need someone that just gets it .. Give us a Hollar! We live south.

I don't care about farang, ang moh, gweilo or whatever designations they apply around here in Asia. The fact is they are building walls that are often hard to overcome. But there is nothing we can do except showing patience.

20 years back they mentioned to me with disgust about how mad those punky youngsters from western countries look like. I said in a couple of years your own sons and daughters will also have 6 earings each side, green hair and brushes on top of the head. "We Are Asians, we are different, Peter, you don't understand our culture." I said no, it's not about me. They are no much different, they are just slower. Today I see the youth here partially running around "worse" than ours.

Thailand is one of the better places to be. It goes up and down but in the end everything will fall into place.
