I wonder what a high level of Diacytel & Acetyl Proprionyl content actually is ?
Decadence at 9 thousands of a mg/ml (.009) seems low - I suppose Spook Sauce at 18 hundredths of a mg/ml (.18) is high then, but not sure if this level is actually still high or not compared to other brand juice ?

Ok...somebody had to do it and because I am the only one that only vapes Goodlife Vapor for over a half year and no other brands I needed to get to the bottom of this cuz I was already thinking of dumping some of my e-liquids in the trash!


First of all thank you Halo for this to put it into perspective.

I really smoked 20 cigarettes a day and now vape probably 4 - 6 ml a day so the blue line should be twice as thick.

Today in my free-time I decided search the internet for other e-juices that were tested after I printed out the results from GLV to make a comparison and to see how bad these liquids mentioned which were indicated with Diacetyl & Acetyl Propionyl and I came across the following results from VaporShark E-liquids VaporShark E-Liquid Testing.pdf - Google Drive

With the list that VaporShark provided I started to highlight the juices the same as they did.
Diacetyl. Acetyl propionyl
Green (safe to vape) 0.005-0.019. 0.005-0.049
Yellow (to high) 0.020-0.100. 0.050-0.100
Red (not safe) > 0.100. >0.100

As you can see mine came out a bit different than the testing center from Vapemate, FYI: 100 ug/ml is 0.100 mg/ml, but as I said before I looked at the one from VaporShark.

Vic having a rant against the Tin-Hat-Wearing-Diacetyl-Brigade LOL

 

Around 9:50 he states cigarettes have ten times the amount of diacetyl yet there has not been one single case of it reported in smokers.

I read a while back, or maybe heard on a podcast that that is because smoking diseases are all lumped under the same roof; Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

It is considered far too expensive to diagnose the true cause which would often be "popcorn lung".

 

Yeah, that's the one. I think it was on one of those podcasts by that 'Russ' guy.

 

I think the basis for his rant was that it was never proved that Diacetyl caused Popcorn Lung in the first place...so why would it cause harm when used in e-liquid

 

Actually he said at 13:00, 100 - 120 times more from one cig than the highest e-juice...

 

To be honest I didn't watch it all, I don't particularly find him good viewing, it's like listening to myself in real life. I did hear he mentioned the mbv report though.
