I was incredibly dissatisfied with kanger ni200 coils. There are more tanks coming out with tc coils...i haven't tried any since I like to build my own, but some of them are bound to perform better.

Yep, just picked up a pack of Ti coils for the Delta II...looking forward to giving that a try. Also got some Ti wire from Sweet Spot Vapers...haven't tried it yet but it's supposed to be excellent for TC.

I generally prefer Ti wire over Ni. It's easier to work with. Just don't dry burn till it glows, you could create titanium dioxide this way..... You can do quick pulse fires in VW mode to look for hot spots and hot legs, but not much more then quick pulses at lower wattage. If you see any white coating form on the coil, that's the titanium dioxide...... You can wash that off, the coil isn't shot if you over heat it (not a worry in tc mode)

Been using TL mods for over a half year now together with various tanks, drippers and am quite confident with wicking and coiling. I'm one of the first folks to use rayon as well. Probably the first in Thailand. Don't mean to toot my own horn and do appreciate your advice which is surely good for newbies in vaping and temp limiting. . :)

It's just the temp limiting in the beginning range I discussed does not fit my preferred kind of vape. Jack up there temp and I'm usually good.

I'm looking forward to trying out titanium and have 2 spools of it waiting for me for my visit back to the States. Good to read your positive take on it. There's a great thread at ecf regarding titanium and other alternative wire types.

To add, I'm not that impressed with the kanger Ni coils either. More a convenience in using than anything. Much prefer hand-built and wicked coils with Ni200

All the fuss and work I had to do to get the kanger coils working decent.... The rba head and DIY coil ends up being much more convenient :p

I did read yesterday that it's firmware up gradable via USB but take that with a pinch of salt until confirmed. If they do offer upgrade on the mini then it's a bl@@dy disgrace it's not already on the "normal"
