eGo AIO has bad taste now

I started using this unit about 9 months ago and it tasted fine. I've tried to keep it clean but now it tastes bad even with a brand new coil.

There's not much to clean except the mouthpiece. I put a new coil in the unit, some liquid, and wait at least 15 minutes before use.

Any thoughts on this are appreciate.

 

It's the exact same juices. That's what I can't understand. I'll try cleaning the tank and putting back the juice and see if that improves things. It feels like the coil is what's tasting bad but it's brand new.

 

Sounds like you may need to try some new juices. If you've been vaping on the same juice for that long, your brain is probably getting no pleasure from those juices anymore. Try some different flavours.

 

I'll try that. I now stick to one juice in the AIO as well, and I've noticed the flavour has gone downhill. Thanks SD.

 

Anyone know what isopropyl alcohol/surgical spirit/rubbing alcohol is called in Thailand? No Boots the Chemist or Watsons in my neck of the woods. Iodine or nothing out here.

I use this...available in your regular Family Mart. 7 Eleven probably have it also.

I soak my tanks in this stuff, mixed heavily with warm water for an hour each time I change coils.

I've never soaked the atomizer bases though as I'm not sure if it might cause any issue? I assume that provided you gave it a good 48 hrs to dry out it would be ok?

Your local pharmacy should have this too. Some makes have a blue dye others are clear--but all seem to be 70% as shown by @Chili Pepper.

You can find it at 7/11.

Thank you for your replies. I always struggle in pharmacies here. I won't go into the time I went into a pharmacy for some little blue tablets, and had to mime what I wanted to the lady behind the counter. Luckily not in my small town.
Now I just keep the empty boxes/boxes/bags and take them with me.

 

I know this is not the right place to ask, but I can't find any in Bkk anymore (did at least 30 pharma). Any idea where they still sell some in Bkk ?
