Help Did anyone get their liquid shipment seized by the customs?

Did anyone have trouble importing e-liquids from other countries?
for personal use, not for resell.

 

There have been problems, yes. Either ordering too much quantity (I would recommend max of 300 ml or so at a time), using expedited/priority/express carrier or method. Recommend standard international postal services such as USPS First class International mail (not registered, express, priority. Basically the cheapest option), Singpost etc. Also good to ask merchant if they can exclude printed invoice in package, avoid referencing e-juice or vaping etc. in the description and forms. Also good to use lower declared value and descriptions like "gift" for package content.

Most reliable and used overseas ejuice vendor by forum members appears to be GoodLife Vapor. They are usually pretty good with accepting special requests such as the above though their recent free shipping defaults to a registered type of USPS package that has had seizures. If you pointedly ask for the standard and cheapest method it should come in fine. I think we have 100% success with that type of shipping with GLV.

I had a shipment seized for liquids using UPS almost 2 years ago already, never used them since.

Avoid DHL, UPS and such, stick to USPS if it is coming from US or Singapore Post from China.

 

DHL, FEDEX, UPS all have received very bad marks shipping things to Thailand. If shipping from the States it is always recommended to ship by first class mail registered. This isn't just for vape stuff. It's for anything you have sent. Those other guys really stick it to you for customs fees and such. I don't know what options there are to ship from the Philippines so someone else will have to answer that.
