The bar I was at got permission to stay open until 11. On the way home almost everything closed apart from a few noodle places and a few ma and pa shops. Hua Hin is a town with a big millitary presence but nothing to see, only the usual police on bikes. Same same tomorrow I guess.

 

Yup very odd for bkk. Was the same a few years back during the curfew when the red shirts rioted. Except that time the silence was occasionally broken by the sound of explosions.

how long is the martial law status planned to be, or when they planned to have re elections?

 

I'm hearing from friends (nothing official) that the curfew might be lifted in tourist areas. Pattaya, Phuket etc. Here in Hua Hin no news so I guess curfew is still in place. A few bars testing the waters last night but they got asked/told to close.

 

i really enjoy thats its silent after 10 pm, so i gotta admit that i love the curfew so far

In case I would not have a TV, nothing is showing that a curfew is in progress on the far country side... Things are just as usual here.

 

The dailymail got blocked because it posted a video of the princess having a party and she was topless and wearing only a g string. It became available for a period of time then got blocked again.

 

No links but I'm reading curfew is now midnight till 4 am.

Bars here seem to follow the lead from 7 - 11. Last night 7-11 stayed open till midnight and so they followed.
