So it looks like the thousands of people who just bought the Cloupor mini with the problem where the magnetic backplate doesn't sit flush are going to be really happy to hear that cloupor will be fixing this in their new batch...

Makes me wish I'd have got mine from FT afterall, they have a great return policy...

Why don't we just say that Cloupor products suck and if you want a similar device which outperforms this one by far get an IPV50W or the IPV mini which is at the moment just a different world whit it's chip and form factor comparing to this product. Anyone reading this because thinking to buy this device, just don't as well as any other cloupor device as you will find better options for your money and Vaping experience.

I just checked on gearbest, and it looks like my Clouper mini just shipped out on January 10, 2015. This will be my first return to the realm of regulated mods. The only reason I am getting this is because it has a USB pasthrough and I can run it in the car instead of dragging the 256650 that I have been doing lately. I already know about the problems with clouper; frying chips with software downloads, overstating wattage, now back cover not fitting. I can deal with that. The thing cost $20 on gearbest.

I didn't realise there were adaptors for that suitable for vape gear. Must look in to it.

With all the issues of the T5, T6 and T8, why are you guys buying this Cloupor especially when the IVP Mini offers the same features ?

Really not a troll folks, I not judging or anything. I am really curious because after owning a T6 and reading other vaper experiences with Cloupor product, I'm not going to buy anything from them anytime soon.

It's $36, it's small, it's 30w(?), it looks quite nice, it has a replaceable 18650 battery, it can be returned, I have an iPV Mini.

    :)

Cloupor's 30w box mod sold very well and I never heard any real problems with the chip, I'm assuming it's the same chip in the mini? Even the t5 chip was ok unless you upgraded and blew the thing up, T5 did have terrible battery life. The t6 and t8 are a total disgrace. I own an IPV mini but won't, at this stage be ordering the Cloupor mini.

For pretty much the same reasons as Rick mentioned really. As anyone who has read my other posts knows, I'm a mechanical guy. Pretty much every regulated mod that I own has fried the chip eventually. I'm still going to be primarily mechanical. The only reason that I am getting a regulated mod is to be able to use the pass through feature and use the mini usb in the car. It uses an 18650, and I have plenty of those. And it was cheap off of gearbest. Those are the only things I care about. I already know cloupor has a terrible reputation.
