1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Because we all can't eat steak and drink champagne every day (hamburgers and Chang for most of us)...I want to talk about Chinese juices.

I love Halo and the premium juices as much as the next guy, but it can be expensive (especially for those who live in Thailand and have to get their juices imported). I do mix and that does save on cost...BUT it is also nice to have premixed juices lying around just in case. And some of the Chinese juices it's actually cheaper than mixing.

Not that I want to switch primarily to Chinese juices, but I wanted to see if there are some flavors that can be stocked up on in bulk and are tolerable when we can't get the really good stuff. There are a few that are somewhat liveable that I would throw out:

Dekang Caramel flavor: quite liveable. Tastes like caramel. Can't really be screwed up that much.

Dekang Hazelnut: nice sweet, nutty flavor. Not too bad for the price. I could vape this on a daily basis and not get disgusted with myself.

Hangsen Vanilla: once again, a simply flavor that is hard to screw up.

TOBACCO FLAVORS (I think tobacco flavor is one of the hardest to get "right")

Dekang Camel: doesn't really taste like a camel. Doesn't really taste like tobacco. Tastes like Hazelnut more than tobacco. If you like Halo, don't expect it to come close. But it really isn't that bad.

"EhealthCigarette" Diamond Black: tries to be a tobacco flavor. Has a nutty taste to it. One of my least favorite juices that is passable. Has an aftertaste you may or may not like.

    Other flavors worth mentioning:
Dekang "Indonesian Tobacco" (cloves): I liked the occasional clove when I was smoking. The Dekang stuff has is reminiscent of cloves, but the general taste I get from it is like vaping soap.

Dekang "red energy": tastes a bit like redbull, more like fruit punch. It is ok every now and then. I can't do it everyday. Definitely don't do in a dripping atomizer which enhances flavor. Use on a clearomizer when you just want nicotine and aren't big on flavor.

    AVOID:
The Chinese menthol. Not even close. Not even good. Taste reminds of a wet basement.

Your assessment is pretty accurate. I don't mind most of the feellife juice. It's ok at the price and certainly on the (modest) equipment I use. It maye not be so great for drippers but I haven't thrown any out...but as you say best at the simple flavours

^^even the most modest of "modest" equipment is still better than the real cigarettes....if it keeps you off of those it's good equipment.

i have trouble enjoying the cheap chinese juices. the fact that they are copied so readily is also a red flag for me. if i knew without a doubt it was actual dekang then i wouldnt mind vaping it if i am in a pinch. the problem is, most of what is sold here is not true dekang so you dont know what your getting.

    FAQ

as for DIY, i have said it many times on this forum, its the best way to go if you want to keep cost down. i have been mixing my own juices and giving plenty away for the last few months. still have a good stock and i spent a total of about 3000 baht including shipping on all the ingredients. that gave me enough to make in the area of 2000 mils of juice.

i do enjoy buying a bottle here and there of halo,GLV and am willing to consider other brands from time to time.

I can get away with the Feel life if need be. In fact I took a mix of raspberry and apple out with me last night despite having some high brow juice on my shelf right now - Halo etc.

So yes - Feel life fruit flavours. I don't care much for their tobacco or menthol.

A freind of mine used to order from a cheap Chinese vendor for Dekang, then a mate of his in the UK gave him a bottle of what he said was 'real' Dekang juice, he said there was a huge difference between the 2 and that yes the 'real' Dekan was much better...

In some respects it's surprising that Dekang has not done more to maintain its share of the market. It doesn't sell directly to consumer so it's something of a mystery to me about if I'm getting " the real thing" . It would be good to have a lower priced but 'safe' juice readily available.

FeelLife has quite a few remarkabel juices imho, i just dont like that its always 10ml bottles, sounds odd, but i hate the fact of producing so much plastic waste, if i like something i should be able to get it in a bigger containment then 10ml

Chocolate Banana from them is absolutley fantastic imho
Energy Cow is quite a vapable refreshment too
Rum Grapes Ice, is very good one too

just wanted to mentioned my alltime favorite chinese juices, ordered several bottles of those flavors already

for me i just figured i am a bit unlucky with mixing own juices, the tabacco ones is still great but the others self mix experiments are pretty disappointing so far, they are all now a good 3+ weeks steeped and i got the smell really great, but it doesnt mesmerize my tastebuds :(

I second that Oil. I know that you can buy Feellife juice in 30 ml. bottles sometime at a marked here in Udonthani or Nongkai, but for 280 Bath for 30 ml. Our vendors only sell in 10 ml bottles but a lot cheaper. But I am only on Feellife juice and I have several juices I really like to vape. I like the fruit juices a lot but also the butterscotch and honey. I am sorry to say that i really like feellife, i also tried the Liqua and might also try the E.H 20 from Tienga. So fare I have not been disappointed, so I have no desire nor money to try imported juice. I am just happy for the Chinese juices.

I actually really like the Feeliife Grape that I got from Micky. Since then I've tried grape flavors from Adirondack, GLV, dekang, nicquid, and a fake Liqua, and none of them have been as good, which surprised me.

My Dekang favorites are caramel, banana and USA Mix. All of them I mix together or just use them straight without mixing.
I tried different other ones from Dekang but after vaping them for 10 minutes they almost right away landed in the trash can!

I never tried banana gone nuts from MBV, but I always imagine it would taste like a mix between Dekang banana and USA mix! It is smooth taste of banana, nuts and tabacco.

Just got some E.h20 e-liquids and was very pleased with all of them.

A bit more expensive, but I'd also recommend Joyetech e-liquid. 300฿ per 30ml at bobbyecig.com. :very good:

I mix my own juices, I order a few high end that I like (Tribeca, El Kamino, East Cost Tobacco) and I also use 10 ml feellife juices as a base for mixing and have had some great results. My favorite at the moment is a Gorilla Juice clone using French Pipe as a base, Banana (FA) and a hint of Belgian Cocoa.

I have a few more feellife juices on the way to do some testing with using them as a base. At the price why not. Using it as a base I get 20 ml of juice for 54.5 baht plus VG and flavourings (I order 12mg and add 10ml of VG plus extra flavour for a 6 mg liquid). Works for me.
