That's what I was thinking. All locally sources parts legitimately bought with sales tax paid. I'll even keep the receipts then no-one can accuse me of smuggling or tax evasion.

I managed to source most of the parts from Lazada. Note the red box. YMMV.

I still need a pin for my atty and I'm still figuring out how to house all this stuff. Maybe some PVC or some kind of plastic box. I have epoxy, soldering equipment, hot glue and insulating sleeves.

I will first research what I am going to make and after that what parts I am going to buy.

I want to make the smallest mod possible and possibly will go for a DNA 30 because I only use less than 30 Watts for MTL vaping.

I have a VaporShark DNA30 as an example what I want to make and I hope the looks will be much better and hopefully it will also be more practical so that I can swap batteries with it so probably I have to make a magnetic door. But for the rest I have to think about what I am going to do and what materials I am going to use and buy.

Thanks for the parts list you posted @fillmcavity it will help me a lot to see what parts I might need. So keep the information coming what you are buying.

Im thinking of a OKR-T/10, OKL2-T/20 or a rapter, with digital pot for controlling them. 2x 18650 for power and an arduino to control a led display and digipot. Except for the main DC to DC converter I have all the bits already. OKR-T/10 is looking the most interesting as 10 amp and 6v is way more than I need, although the OKR-T/10 would take 4 1k digipots in paralell to get the 250ohm scale required for the voltage adjustment. next problem is the resolution or steps, 256 is normal for a digipot so at .1watt steps there limited to 25 what range, or ill double up the paralleled pots and have 2 sets in series to give me a 50 watt range. Not easy getting so much hardware into an enclosure so i may end up with multiple versions and a sore head trying to figure out all the code. The designs would be easy on a manufactured board as it could all be done on ssop(very small you can hardly see). with 53 year old eye sight im going to have to use larger ics

I totally get what he is talking about!:chinrub:

Most of my parts arrived from Lazada but the master switch is too big, the 15K resistor looks too big, the wire looks too thick, the MOSFET looks too small. What am I missing? I'm still looking for a suitable housing. Any suggestions?

hey guys I still have some parts that I bought from Lotta a while ago that I never used that I would like to donate to your noble cause.
if somebody is interested send me a message and I will send it to you.
on the picture you see the parts that are included:
2 single battery sleds, 2 double battery sleds, 5x 510 connectors, three plastic fire buttons, two metal fire buttons, a bunch of resistors (or what they are called), three types of tiny magnets, two metal thingies that could be used for something that i would not know, a bunch of positive and negative battery connectors (again, sorry if that is the wrong word) and two plastic boxes that could house the mod.
some of these things have been used before by the previous owner and some of them have been modified. most of them are unused. let me know if you are interested.

    have a nice day

Though about printing a lokomotive with my 3D Printer and Insight technic (moradin25, dna250 and 3 batteries) for Thailand. It looks like something to play for child's with steam and should work like normal device. But it' s just a plan and too late for this competition.
