Battery for Eleaf Aster

    first i wanted to order the eleaf istick tc 60w.
    on the homepage of eleaf they recommend the sony vtc 4.

    but for the eleaf aster they have no recommendation.

    i guess i can use the sony vtc 4 and the sony vtc 5?

    can anybody confirm this?
    and what would you recommend?

    Any battery that is similar. In addition to the VTC4 and VTC 5, you can also look at the Samsung 25r (I use this battery a lot, both in mech and regulated mods). LG makes some excellent batteries. The LG HE 2 and HE4 are comprable to the VTC 5. For the ultimate in amps, you can go to the LG HB2 or HB 6.

    FYI, the Sony and Samsung batteries are readily available from vendors on this forum.

    For mods, atomizers and coils the vendors here are great. Batteries and juices I don't buy here!

    Ooooiiiiii I get to be contrary! Micky has real Samsung 25r batts, and I've had good luck getting LG batts from Big.

    To be honest, I do buy my Sony's from overseas as well. Too many copies here.

    may i ask where you buy batteries and liquid?

    2 weeks ago i ordered from heavengifts the istick tc 60w, liquids and batteries.
    the support contacted me and told me that it would be difficult to send the istick tc 60w to thailand.
    so we canceled the istick order and i got my money back.
    but it looks like it takes very long time for the liquids and battery to arrive.

    yesterday i ordered from member @Big by-pass the eleaf aster and the melo 3 mini.
    and it looks like they will arrive today :thank you:

    do you know and what you think about this vendor?

    I would never order batteries and e-liquid in one order. If the e-liquid leaks you could have batteries that vent or worse. Also if the customs find your e-liquid your batteries will also be confiscated.

    E-liquids I buy from the USA from a company that makes e-liquids, so that I know they are authentic.

    Batteries I bought from FastTech, but they don't ship anymore.

    Take this for what you will. I ordered a pair of LG HB6 batteries from Vapor Indy here in Thailand. They had an incredible price on a pair of them. Honestly, I thought they would be fakes. Well, the date code checks out (I can see why the batteries are so cheap - they are a year old). Close inspection shows they have never been used. I compared the batteries to pictures of the HB6 online and they seem the same. I haven't had the courage to charge and test them though :surprised:

    My last batch of batteries came from Gear Best (Samsung 30Q's) and they appear to be genuine. There are several reputable sellers referenced in the battery safety thread posted by @Konvict.

    Never purchased from them...if you do, let us know how it goes. :)

    did anyone here ever experienced an exploding battery himself?

    will it destroy the mod?
