1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

What is the general life of a battery? Specifically the eGo-C 650 mAH. I noticed that the Valcano Inferno warranties their batteries for 1 year, which suggest they are good for longer than that. But I'm not sure that's any indication of how long other manufacturer's batteries will last.

I'm also curious about how the batteries work, with respect to charging. Do you have to let them drain all the way before charging, or can you top them off at any time without any worry. I have noticed that some manufacturers allow you to charge while vaping, which suggests their are no memory issues with their batteries, but I'm not sure I should make the leap and assume all batteries are created equal.

Glenn, with due respects, which batteries have lasted you more than that with daily use? Would really be interested in knowing.

I am aware of how long the batteries will last in a given charge, but that was not my question. :)

Virtually all batteries in e-cigs are lithium chemistry batteries. As mash said, 500 cycles is a good estimate, but obviously that depends on the specific batteries. Lithium batteries will last longer if you don't discharge them fully, try to keep them as topped up as possible at all times. If you aren't going to be using it for an extended period of time, discharge the battery to approximately half before storing.

Is it better if you drip charge the batteries. Like at the end of the charging cycle?

    Sorry...I don't understand what that means. :)

Thanks to you and mash. This is important to me in making sure I have replaced the batteries before I wake up one day and discover I have no juice for my juice. :)
