Ares MTL RTA first thoughts

    Just got this today.

    I did exactly what I did when I got my digiflavor siren 2, wash it, coil it with the coil provided and wicked it.
    Same ohms and same Wattage as my digiflavor siren 2

    First impression, no real flavour, kinda muted....A hotter vape than the digiflavor siren 2

    Air flow was fine for me, mine is the newest version as the air flow ring isn't loose.
    I have the exact same juice In it i vape every day in my digiflavor siren 2 and all I can say it the digiflavor siren 2 kicks its ass,,,,

    I will play around with wicking it again, maybe try less cotton on the legs or something, but I have read around and others have said the same about the flavour problem...

    After around 3 tanks of juice the flavour has now come through well.
    Wicking real well too

    just got mine today--how can u tell if its the new version? to me airflow is very similar to siren2--wont comment on flavor yet--and i still want more airflow--will try to remove that honeycomb airflow thing on the deck

    The first batches had lots of problems with the airflow ring being real loose amongst other little things, I waited till FT got the newest batch and then bought one.
    The airflow ring on mine isn't loose so i take it that it is the 'fixed' version...

    ok-my airflow ring works well--got mine from hotecig--got here in only 6 days--i managed to punch out the center of that honeycomb piece under the coil--got a little more airflow but noisier

    btw--FT is back to shipping vape products to thailand??
