Any advice?

    Hi all,

    Bought the re-buildable RBA coil for the Smoant Pasito Pod. It looked cute...

    Use a Germaster pre-build coil, 3mm Dia, 28 or 30 Guage 6 wraps which stated 0.5 Ohm.

    But I add one more wrap to it. After installed on the deck, it showed 1.05 Ohm.

    Any idea why the Ohm double? Bcos I added one more wrap to it?

    Did you check the resistance before adding the additional wrap? Why did you add a wrap to a pre-made coil? I don’t know if the resistance is linear or not...but if you trust your ohm meter, then the resistance with the additional wrap is 1.05 ohms as measured.

    My bad. That 1.05 Ohm coil was built using the wire provided with the RBA tank/coil.

    Checked Ohm meter with another pre-build coil on another tank, it was same as my mod read 0.36 Ohm. Meter no problem.

    Now build another coil with the wire provided. Meter read 1.07 Ohm.

    Pasito Pod Watts setting from 10, 13, 16, 20, 25 watt.

    Will try this rba after the cartridge ejuice empty...
