A while back I picked-up more than a dozen bottles of "Richie" e-liquid in Sukhumvit from a couple of the street traders that sell between Soi 3 and 15 -- i.e,, between Asoke and Nana. Negotiated price was Baht 130 / 30ml bottle. Cheap--yes, and one trader was quite clear that these were genuine counterfeits.

At 130 Bhat this is obviously a good deal price-wise. But, quality wise is another issue. I've only been vaping about 4 months now and seem to be getting by fine with this "faux Richie" labeled e-juice. Does anyone else use this stuff or have any thoughts. Am I doing myself harm :sickout:

Personally I would never buy food or e-juice at the side of the road, but that is just me.

If your hair didn't fall out yet, I guess you didn't buy radiator fluid but maybe something else because these are genuine counterfeits.

It is actually not very hard to copy Richie or whatever flavours. But it is hard to know if the ingredients they use for the copy are all ok.

I have a case where they sold amyl acetate (a flavouring ingredient) in a low diluted quaility to one of my customers in Thailand. I told the lady not only once: "you have to look at the cost in use and not at the price per kg." No avail. Now we have to match the product that she has produced from that low grade quality, bcs. she cant change the taste anymore but now wants to buy from me.

If you need cheap juice, I'd stick with Feellife from Tienga. I still sometimes use a couple I really like. And it's made in a modern hygenic factory with ingredients listed on the packaging.

To be frank the ingredients listed on the packaging of Feellive is a fake list.

I am sure that it isn't a fake list.

Maybe it is a genuine counterfeit list from China!

I bought several bottles of Ritchy Liqua, haven't as yet grown a third nut ...

Joking aside, if you start feeling sick with any juice, then ditch it, clean tank properly and replace coil.

And, yeah, buy liquids from reputable sources going forward, like others suggested this is the safest. Feellife are cheap enough, and mostly better than Ritchy off of the street.

The difficulty always is in knowing whether the street juice is genuine or mixed in someone's bedroom...

If it's genuine Ritchy, you're probably ok...they're a global player in the juice trade as well.

The ingredient list is the same for all my 11 flavours, regrardless it is Energy Drink, Cherry, Strawberry, Orange, Banana Chocolate, etc.

It is printed on the packaging and that box is used for all flavours. And nobody noticed this yet? ISO 2000:2005. Yep.

So what...that doesn't make it a fake list. But it certainly could be a list of everything they put in all their liquids to keep the formulas safe...suspect they did the same thing with their MSDS sheet as well. ;)

And I don't believe this is fake either...

These ingedients would make a tobacco flavour with a bit of cooling.

These ingredients listed on all packages make a tobacco flavour with some cooling, no cherry, energy drink or banana.

This is a list may be of one of their flavours but it is not a suitable list of the 11 products I bought, not even roughly.

checked my Feellife empty boxes, same ingredients list, just a little sticker to indicate flavour and nic strength applied post printing the boxes. The bottles do have a tear off plastic thing, which has something printed on it, never read it, too small and writing gets damaged when removing it. Nothing on the bottle to indicate ingredients. So inconclusive, so far, in my opinion. I would have expected different ingrendients list on each box, so hence I can see why @peter-k says this ...

You would not use Labdanum Extract, Tolu Balsam, Ginger Oil, and burley, virginia and absolute tobacco in Banana flavourings, would you?

It is made up to look good and "healthy" in the sense of natural.
