I was hoping someone may have some insight.

I ordered a MOD through AliExpress on the 27th of Oct and the tracking was consistent up until the 8th where it hasn't updated since.

It reads as departure from outward office of exchange in KL and that's it. It never showed having been accepted into Thailand. Am I to assume it's been seized or lost? Has anyone else had any experience with this before?

The vendor suggest I wait 60 days and assures me it will be delivered.

    Any info would be helpful.

    Thanks

it's the way they do, before a refund/ can not argue
In my case, they write me that french airport control were very strict after the attack in Paris, jock....the package was lost (in the sea:chinrub:) between China and France. they refund my PayPal account after 60 days.:very good:

Be patient. It may not show up in tracking because it hasn't been processed yet. In other cases I've received my shipment before the tracking information has been updated.

    Hello, new poster here,

I got orders from AliExpress where the tracking was showing it's in my town (Rawai) for over 10 days until it actually got delivered.

Cheap shipping from China... can't really rely on the tracking but I would be concerned after one month.

Quickest shipping I get from China is 10 days. Many more take 20 days and beyond.

Not sure... It was AliExpress standard shipping.

If you track it at 17track.net, it will tell you the carrier (and if the tracking no. starts with an "R" and ends with "MY", it's Malaysian Post Registered).

Normal transit time between MY & LOS is 5-7 days so if it were me, I'd be prepared for it never to arrive...sorry to say.

She's up country visiting her folks. :D

Cheers... I think it's this way...I would have thought it would still register as having entered Thailand.

Maybe I can get buyer protection... Never hurts to try

My aliexpress orders always came in the mailbox... But it often took several weeks. In many cases, tracking number is useless...

Of all the items one might try to bypass customs on entry a mod is probably least likely to survive the process.

I ordered on AliExpress and it was marked as shipped Nov 9th. Tracking number starts in SY. On 17track.new it shows no info found however on aftership.com it shows as "Dispatch PreAlert to Thailand", "Item Posted over the counter to Thailand" and "Item sent to Thailand" then "Item Posted over the counter to Thailand" on the 10th in that order. Then on the 14th it updated again with "Dispatch Pre Alert" "Item Posted Over the Counter" and "Item sent to Thailand". Confusing to say the least but all I can do is keep my fingers crossed. Today is 2 weeks from the date it was shipped so I think in general tracking through Malaysia post is unreliable to say the least but I expect the postman to show up any minute today or tomorrow based on how long it took other orders from China to arrive.

Is it a 13 digit number with 2 letters at the beginning & end and 9 numbers in the middle? That's the standard format of postal service tracking nos...the last 2 letters will indicate the country.
