1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Not so much making but changing, like my ZNA 40 mod I did, took out the crap Chinese chip and replaced with an Evolv dna 40
Doing the same with my Zero mod, but just waiting on the button to arrive....

Aha-I guessed it was Box-mod related. Sounds interesting. Are the Chinese chips that bad?

So, you could buy a $60 ZNA Chinese clone and swap out the Chinese Chip for an Evolv- or is that exactly what you are doing?

    Yep...
Apart from the YiHi SX chips, they are ok...
But most of these knock off clone mods don't use them, they just use some crap made chip..
However the body of the mods are usually good, so slap a real Evolv chip in it and you're away....

Yep, I got lucky for me and found a full body 18650 ZNA, I like that fact it uses an 18650 not the 18500 in full body:
ZNA Full Body 18650 Mod with converted DNA 40 chip | Thailand Vapers

It was a lot harder though as that chip is bigger and it doesn't match up with the buttons..
So a normal 18500 body ZNA clone is easier to slap in the Evolv chip.

Not so much, their chips are ok ish..
And it's not like they are some clone maker ramming in some ship chip in it...
They've been around a long time and have some good products out...
I wouldn't be swapping those chips no....

Sigelei 100w has a Yihi chip. Not sure if it's the 330 or the 350 but they are both good chips.

Might have to buy yours, Rick, if it doesn't manage to 'run the blockade'. Now I know how the Palestinians must feel!

    You'll get it...

    ...But you might not
    **Updated**
People moan about stuff here being 2,3,4,500B more expensive here but at the end of the day you don't have to wait 14-28 days for it to arrive and have no concern about it being confiscated.
