1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Do you prefer the micro usb or the type-c interface?

    Hi everyone,
    Here is XTAR
XTAR will release a new VC4S battery charger in the first half of 2019, but the product is currently being designed with a MICRO USB port. We want to know whether you prefer the MICRO USB interface or type-c.
Your Suggestions are very meaningful to us. We will keep your opinions and make improvements to the product. Thank you very much.

I prefer the Micro USB option, probably because I already have the cables. :)

When will XTAR roll out the upgraded DRAGON VP4 Plus?

Have to side with debatedude on this one, better to futureproof it with type C.

Yes, something to be said for futureproofing...how about offering both options? Or including a micro USB - USB type C adapter in the package?

If it comes with the cable it's just set and forget anyway.

The only problem is that type C is a lot harder to get here in Thailand so you need to have backup cables planned.

Much prefer Type C, no need to think too much when plugging it in. Most phones seem to be moving to C now (not sure what they use now in Appleworld). Knowing my luck, as soon as I have all my devices / cables standardised some smart ass will come up with USB D.

Not found a problem getting USB Type C personally. Tend to order from Lazada (Baseus brand).

Just meant they're not as readily available as micro usb , you can't just swing by 7/11 and pick up a type C cable like you can with micro usb, only a matter of time though.

Yeah, I'd doubt the street corner availability would be there. TBH, I've got so used to Lazada being the default port of call for stuff like that I don't even look in B&M stores like Banana now so not even sure if they have them. When I did used to use them I tended to notice stuff was really pricey and they had really odd lengths, thick cables too very often.

It's pretty much the wave of the future. Additionally,I think you can handle higher voltage than a normal USB 2.0. I have a high-capacity charger for my phone it's a 40 watt charger using USB c.moreover, a USB c cannot be put in the wrong way as there is no correct way to put it in. if a computer has high capacity charging or a USB c outlet, charges can easily be hooked up to a computer and do fast charging.
